Chapter 2; Waking up fired.......

No-one's P.O.V:
You, Sonic and Twinxie made it to Sonic's place on a nearby beach, you went inside a cabin like house, so that Sonic could place Tails on the sofa and got some bandages, you sat next to the unconscious fox-kid, you felt guilt run all over your body, wishing you would've done something at the time, 'That poor thing, I hope Sonic knows what he's doing.' You thought, Sonic then came back with some bandages and all sorts and wrapped it around Tails' more seriously injured parts of his body, such as his ears, "Alright, now all we have to do now is wait." Sonic said once he planted the last bandage in place, "Wow, you really are one of the nicest and most loyal males I've ever come across." You said half hoping he didn't hear you, "Thanks, Alienia, it was nothing really, uh...." "Um, no it is something, that's being a true friend, that's one of the things I like in a guy; loyal, friendly, considerate...." Sonic blushed at your comment, "Alright, I'll be back, lemme know if he wakes up." He got up and left you and Twinxie with the yellow fox boy, you were bored out of your mind, until that flashback of that plane crash came into your mind, you were snapped out of your thoughts when you heard a groan. It was the little fox boy, "{groans} Sonic?" You were about to yell for Sonic, but he came back before you could take a deep breathe to call out for him, "Hiya, Tails, how ya feelin'?" He asked, "Yeah I- hey, who are they?" Tails said when he noticed you and Twinxie, "Oh yeah, Tails, this here is Alienia Mae the hedgehog and her friend, Twinxie the golden spix, girls, this is my good friend, Tails. Tails. Girls. Girls. Tails." Sonic introduced you guys to each other, "And Alienia is also nicknamed, 'the teal soft touch', the softest of all hands and touch on mobius." Twinxie announced, "Yeah, I mean, if you weren't so wrapped up in yourself, you would see I'm a lot more than you think, wouldn't you?" You said holding up Sonic's scarf, he felt his chest for it, but nothing was there, his face turned into a O.O kind of face, "Whoa, didn't see that coming." Sonic said collecting his scarf and put it back around his neck. "Um, anyway, time to get to work!" Tails said getting off the sofa, "Uh, yeah, um.........about that...uh, you are taking early retirement, my friend!" "Early retirement?!" Tails exclaimed, "Of course, have a game of golf, and spend time with your grand kids!" Sonic continued as you and Twinxie couldn't help but to laugh, "Wait, I don't have grand kids!" You laughed a bit louder, "Well, now's your chance to get some!" You and Twinxie were now on the floor, roaring with laughter, your eyes were filled with tears, you got back up, calming down, wiping away the tears, Sonic rolled his eyes and said, "Trust me, it's for the best." and with that being said, he gave his friend a hug and sped to the doorway and left, leaving a confused Tails, "What just happened?" He asked you, "Dunno." You replied in your usual everyday British accent, Sonic then came back to the doorway, "I fired you." He said casually and left, "Oh ok just checking."
Shira's/Alienia's (you) P.O.V:
O.O Whoa! No one said anything about firing anyone, why didn't he jus- {sighs} anyway, I ran outside, catching up to Sonic, "Hey, we need to talk!" I called out once I was close enough, "{sighs} About what?" Sonic stopped sounding a little frustrated, I finally caught up with him, "Firing your own best friend?! Really?! I was NOT on board with this whole 'firing your own friend' thing, no one said anything about firing anyone, why did you do it huh? Why? Why?!" I started to sound pretty mad, "EASY, ALIENIA! I just- {sighs} look I didn't wanna fire him, I just wanted to protect him, and to make sure he stays 'retired' I'm going to be printing out flyers all over mobius, and hoping someone will take Tails' place, it's nothing personal, alright?" He placed a hand on my shoulder, I sighed, "Alright, good luck then, cowboy!" I ran back to the beach house, but.............I forgot the way, I'm so embarrassed! -.-
Sonic's P.O.V:
*blushes* Cowboy? Ha. She called me cowboy! Alienia-Mae the hedgehog called me cowboy! YES!!! Ahem, anyway, a little while later, I was sticking up flyers for a new sidekick, I made sure it said 'all candidates welcome' on it, alright I think that'll do it.........no, wait, I think I put up one too many (I put loads up EVERYWHERE) anyway, I got everything set up elsewhere, later on, what do I find? Everyone has come to audition, I was speaking to Amy, since she was auditioning and it was ugh........if I put it into words, it's not what I had in mind, "My name is Amy Rose and I will be auditioning for the part of sidekick." She said, I mean her voice it's just......I dunno uh,"I know who you are Amy........" Then she started juggling *facepalms* "Next" I said, I mean, I didn't go all this way to see a 'circus act', anyway, Knuckles came in and he's not the brightest, "I think you would be a great sidekick for me!" "No, Knuckles, I'm looking for someone to be MY sidekick." I tried to reason with him, but he just carried on ugh......."But we'll have to change your name though, I'm thinking: Knuckles. Jr." See what I mean?! It's a good thing I took the clipboard off him, a little while later, Alienia came in, is she auditioning? She cut the queue, this had better be good, "Listen, Alienia, I'm looking for a sidekick here and you're more actual hero than sidekick, wait, what?" She blushed at that, "W-what, n-no I'm not here to audition heheh, I kinda got news, um, Tails has just gone out of the house and Twinxie and I don't know where he is and-" she said, but I cut her off, "Wait a minute, YOU LET HIM OUT?!" "No, Twinxie did." Aargh, why?! Now he's gonna know 'bout me replacing him, I am SO gonna kill a spix! Oh no, Amy is back, I saw Alienia hide somewhere, "Oh and improv! I love improv *Italian accent*
I'm-a crazy pizza man! Who juggles and sings! *starts singing and juggling*" I pushed her along outside, "It's alright, Alienia, you can come out now." She then came out of her hiding place, I really don't know why she was hiding, maybe she gets shy or something. That's when I realised Knuckles came back in.
Knuckles' P.O.V:
Not excepting my ideas, I'll show you what not to accept! So I went back in barging through, "And one more thi- whoa...." I was interrupted by the sight of a hot girl, dude is she single? "Oh uh......hello?" She said, "Hehe-helllooooooo theeeeeerrrrrree!!!!!!" I said, man I feel stupid, "Knuckles, this is Alienia Mae the hedgehog, Ali, this is Knuckles the echidna, so yeah, just go easy on her, Knux." Sonic said, 'Alienia' I thought, even better, "That's a lot of decoration for a guy's shoes, don't you think?" She said, holding up some shoes that look exactly like mine, wait, I checked my feet, well what do ya know? They WERE my shoes, wait, how did she do it?! She threw them back at me, man, Alienia is dynamite! Is she single? "Excuse me, Alienia, I couldn't help but to notice that uh..........you dropped something." Smooth, Knuckles (!), "Really? What? Where?" She said, "Uh yeah, my jaw." She blushed a little at my comment, well, at least it worked, "Alright, stop flirting with Alienia, come on, Knuckles *funny voice* walk out the door, boy!" Sonic said trying to push me out, and succeeded, but that's not the point, I-I think I'm...........in love *sings* people fall in love in mysterious ways! Cos baby, we found love right where we are!*singing stops* Wow, I can't wait to meet her again, that is if we actually DO meet up again. Then I saw Eggman walk the opposite way.....wait, EGGMAN?! Oh well it's their problem now.
No one's P.O.V:
Sonic was asking a candidate questions, this candidate was masked (or hooded), "You're pretty good at this, new guy." Sonic said to him, "Thank you, but I'm not a new guy, I'm actually......." He started to pull on the hood, but fell, revealing, "Tails?! You can't just audition after I fired you!" Sonic said angrily and surprised, "Oh yeah? Well, what about this, see? 'all candidates welcome', unless there's something you're not telling me." Tails put his hands on his hips, you tried to change the subject, "Um, well, Twinxie and I will give ourselves a tour around this place, if it's ok with you guys." "Uh sure, you'll be fine, right?" Sonic asked you, "Yeah, totes, alright see ya 'round!" And with that, you and Twinxie left trying to get out of there, Twinxie then saw a fat man walking the opposite way to you two, "Hey, Shira, isn't that the same guy we saw near the canyon earlier on?" Twinxie asked you, "What are you talking about?" The fat man obviously heard your conversation and rudely butted in, "Oh, nothing, just 'angin' (hanging) around 'ere (here) heheh." You said, but Twinxie didn't really think that she'll like this guy, she gave him a half-suspicious/half-glare, "Actually, we were just leaving, come on, buddy, lets go." Twinxie said fluttering off, you caught up with her before the fat man could speak. "Uh let's try this way." You said just to change the subject, "Uh, ok sure." Was Twinxie's reply and with that you walked off into a jungle.
