I ran circles around the couch, trying to avoid Austin.

"Get over here!" He yelled, laughing. I shook my head, pulling his Slipknot hoodie over my head.

"Uh, nope. This is my jacket; not yours." I winked at him, running out of the back door into the back yard. I heard him chasing me. I picked up speed, trying to make sure he wouldn't catch me. I felt long, lanky arms throw themselves around my waist, stopping me. Austin pulled me back, crushing me against his chest.

"Caught you." He whispered. I giggled as he kissed my jaw.

"Congratulations, you caught a wild Alyssa!" I cheered, making the hushed sound of roars of a crowd. He chuckled, sweeping my legs up and carrying me bridal style back into the house. He stepped sideways, tossing me down onto the couch with a thud.

"Ow." I stated, sitting up. Austin leaned over the back of the couch, placing a kiss on the top of my head.

"Sorry beautiful." He called.

I sank into the couch, turning the tv on. The house was kind of cold, making me thankful for Austin's jacket that was too big for me. It was pretty comfortable.

"Here." Austin smiled, handing me a bowl of popcorn and plopping down on the couch.

"Oh, movie night?" I asked. He nodded his head. His arm wrapped around my shoulders. I snuggled up to him. He grabbed the blanket that rested on the back of the couch, spreading it out and laying it over the both of us. He stopped when he found a marathon of the Paranormal Activity movies. We made fun of them, laughing at some of the jokes. By 11:37, I was almost asleep in Austin's lap. As I was about to close my eyes, a scream sounded from the tv. Katie threw her sister against the wall, making me jump up and scream. I'd forgotten about it, the scene catching me off-guard.

"Alyssa!" Austin laughed, grabbing his sides. He fell off the couch, joining me on the floor. I smacked his arm.

"That wasn't funny!" I said, completely serious. Austin tried to stop smiling.

"I'm sorry angel, but that was hilarious." I pouted my lip, clearly not amused. He leaned over and kissed me, lips sweet an loving. He pulled away, looking into my eyes.

"I'm here to protect you Alyssa. I won't let anyone hurt you."

I was glad the room was dark; he didn't need to see me blushing.

"I love you." I grinned.

"I love you too." He smiled back, turning onto his stomach and pulling me against him to watch the rest of the movie.
