[ TRIGGER WARNING: Sexual Assault, Self Harm/Suicide ]

"Come on sweet girl, sing for me..." A venomous voice whispered into your ear. You shuttered in fear and discomfort. You weren't going to give into the pigs that often had their way with you. The silence angered the man making him grab a handful of your (H/C) hair and slammed your face against the bed.

Your head was turned and you could see another bed a few feet from the one you were on. There was a naked man with rage in his eyes. His hands were gripped tightly around a girl's throat. The girl had bright blue eyes and short brown hair. Her face was lightly dotted with freckles. The girl struggled against the man's tight grip, her bare legs shifted and kicked from under him.

"No....Stop it! Get away from her!"

You shout but its too late. The life drains from the girls face and her body goes limp. The girl's lifeless head turns towards you, her blue eyes still open and filled with tears.

"Gabby!"

In an instant you wake with a gasp. Sweat beaded down your flushed cheeks as you began to enter back into reality. You let out a sign and move to sit on the edge of your bed. You look down at your shaking hands with a deep sign.

"Every fucking night..." You mutter to yourself.

Your apartment was pitch black, it was pretty early but you knew it would be hard to fall back asleep after that. You pull back the shades in your room and glance out onto the city that never sleeps. The sound of cars honking and driving by was almost comforting. It helped bring you back to reality.

You lived in a studio apartment. Not that you couldn't afford a regular apartment, you liked being able to see everything out in the open. It gave you some comfort to know that you were almost always completely aware of your surroundings when you were here. It was enough space for just you and your cat Susan anyway. Yeah, her name is Susan. People are always intrigued by your choice of pet name when they come to visit. Not to say you have a lot of visitors, but you have a few acquaintances you can trust to watch your place if you were going to be gone.

Regardless of the studio apartment, you were always being observed. Even if you didn't know from where, someone was keeping their eye on you. It was an uneasy feeling. But after all you were someones property and they had the right to make sure what's theirs stays exactly where they want them to be. You were just lucky you had some independence. But as soon as Papa needed you, you had no choice but obey. Running away never worked, someone would eventually find you and drag you back to that damned mansion.

You stepped into the kitchen and began making a pot of coffee. You leaned yourself against the counter and watched as the coffee began to drip into the pot. After a few minutes it was reader and you poured yourself a cup. Susan weaved between your legs and mewed softly up at you. Susan was a pitch black cat with bright yellow eyes. You smiled down at her and turned to reach into a cabinet. You grabbed a small dish and a can of cat food. You pried that sucker open and plopped it into the dish. Your face wrinkled with discomfort as you placed the food down on the ground. Susan instantly began to eat, purring while she did so. You went back to your coffee and finished it while gazing mindlessly out the window. You did this often, you'd be lost in thought and your mind would go to other places. [Dissociation]

You finished your coffee and placed the cup in the sink. By this time the sun was beginning to rise. A warm orange light began to bleed into your apartment. It hit your face, it was warm. It was time to get ready for the day, not like you had any real plans, yet. You step into your bathroom and glance into the mirror over the sink. You had a soft face, your expression was gentle even at a resting position. Your (E/C) eyes were bright. Your (H/C), (H/L) was a bit messy from the rough sleep you had. Your skin was pale and soft. Across your neck horizontally was a large, pale pink scar. It was about eight inches long and by touching it, you could feel it rise above your skin. Touching it always brought your mind to that place, that dark, scary place.
