Driving down the road,

She knew oh, so dear,

Preparing herself,

For what was so, so near,

She opens the door,

Tears streaming down,

Today's the day,

It will all go away,

She stood on the bridge,

In silence and fear,

For the demons of darkness,

Had driven her here,

She decided to end it,

To not live through the pain,

Silently crying,

Why does it have to be this way?

Everything takes so much effort to do,

Her constant pain, so hard to live through,

Lying in bed, she sees the day dawning,

Hating herself for waking up that morning,

They could never know,

The constant pain she felt,

Because in their eyes,

She seemed to be fine,

And when the darkness came,

With its all-consuming power,

It slowly took her soul,

Hour by dreadful hour,

But they told her she's strong enough.

They swore it'd get better.

They said, "Just hold out, and

Bare the 'stormy weather' ."
