40 minutes later... Isen's dorm
Once they made it back to school safely, they went straight to Isen's dorm. They went there unnoticed, because the school wasn't over for the day. Therefore, there weren't any students roaming at the courtyard.
Blyke was laid down at Isen's bad, while Remi and Isen was enduring their injuries. So Seraphina had to call Elaine, but since class was still ongoing — she decided to text her
"Elaine, can you come to Isen's dorm?"
"But... I'm in the middle of the class"
"Please. It's urgent"
"Okay... I'll try"
...
Elaine put her phone back to her pocket and raised her hand, calling the teacher "Yes, Elaine?"
"Can I go to the bathroom?"
"Sure, go ahead" The teacher nodded, and immediately went back to teaching
A short while later...
"Seraphina..." Remi called "Couldn't you just reverse our wounds just like how you did with Blyke?"
Remi asked. Sera would've already done just that. But if that was the case, Sera wouldn't have had to call Elaine to begin with "It's because Blyke was staying idle in one spot. It makes it easier to reverse his wounds"
"I'm n-not sure I'm getting it"
"To put it simply, before I could focus on his internal body, I had to get through his external first. So because his body was staying still in one spot, I only had to focus on his internal body"
"I... I think I actually understand now" Said Remi halfheartedly, not expecting to understand it in the first place
"But..." Sera continued "He has most likely gotten more injuries before he passed out on the rooftop. That's why I couldn't reverse his wounds completely"
*knock...knock* Someone knocked on the door, and when Sera opened the door, it was Elaine — panting heavily, signaling that she rushed over just to get here
*pant...pant* "Seraphina... what did you call me for—" Elaine stopped her sentence midway, with her eyes wide open "W-what in the world?"
Elaine saw Remi and Isen all injured, along with Blyke that was just laying on the ground. Not to mention that she also realized that all of them weren't wearing school uniforms. "D-did you guys not attend school today?" Elaine asked
"We did" Sera replied briefly "But that doesn't matter. Elaine, can you please heal them?"
Elaine walked slowly to them, struggling to comprehend where all those injuries came from. And from just, who? Elaine decided to heal Remi first out of the two. You wouldn't usually put any mind to it, but Sera was puzzled
"Elaine..." Sera called
"Hm? Yes, Seraphina?"
"Is there any reason why you chose to heal Remi first?"
"No. Why?"
Sera went silent for a bit. 'Is it because her subconscience is telling her to heal the strongest first? Or am I just overthinking things?' Sera thought
"Seraphina?" Elaine called
"No... it's nothing"
