C H A P T E R 1 7

this time, wooyoung came back to a quiet household. taehyung and hoseok were on the couch, watching a movie together, jeongguk was most probably playing with jaemin in their room, while yoongi and san might be working on the whole case together.

taehyung and hoseok both greeted wooyoung and wooyoung smiled back, before going up to yoongi's room. he could hear san and yoongi both talking about things, and wooyoung just gently knocked on the door. 

"come in !" wooyoung heard yoongi shouted as he turned the door knob to find yoongi and san sitting opposite each other, a big piece of paper in front of them. 

wooyoung took a seat beside san and saw drawings that were being made there. yoongi explained that jeongguk took the time to draw the whole layout for them as it was impossible to print the whole big layout, and besides, jeongguk could draw really fast, so the whole rough sketch of the layout took jeongguk about an hour.

"hyung, there is something that i want to say..." wooyoung said, catching yoongi's and san's attention. "when i went to the hospital, jimin and i watched the news and they were talking about this device called the vamptrack... it's a device that catches vampire's energy. vampire tends to have a higher energy compared to humans, so once the device detects someone with high energy, the whole thing will sound... we need to be discreet and make sure we don't pass by any of them when we are in there... jimin is in a high risk as he is a vampire. if they ever detected him, we're doomed..." 

yoongi and san both stared at wooyoung in shock. this was way harder than they thought. "our powers all give off high energy, are we able to do that ?" san asked, looking at yoongi. 

"we must not walk pass these cameras then... how many are there, woo ?" yoongi asked.

wooyoung tried to think back at those large boxes that he saw at the front desk. "from what i saw on the news, it is quite a hefty device. if i were to estimate, probably about 10 at the hospital." wooyoung grimaced as yoongi's eyes fell down to the drawing in front of him. 

yoongi just hummed as his eyes roamed around the layout. they would definitely put on at the entrance..." yoongi whispered as he reached out to grab a highlighter from his desk and circled the entrance on the layout. 

"there should be one in the carpark too..." san added, as yoongi circled the carpark.

yoongi brushed his hair back in frustration and began to highlight areas that seems like a place where the device might be at. 

"i think we can commence the operation next week. we got to do it fast, before it is too late..."

"jimin, let's go..." hwayoon sighed as jimin folded his arms, shaking his head vigorously. oh how he wished someone was visiting him right now...

hwayoon picked up the walkie talkie from his back pocket and speak into it. "code 23, i repeat code 23. l22, r34." 

jimin gulped as hwayoon tucked the device back into his pocket. "i guess we have no choice huh, mr park ?"

"you're absurd..." jimin spat as his door was being busted open. there came in a few people who ran forward and held jimin by the arm.

"what the f-" jimin shouted as more people came to take him away.

hwayoon shook his head as jimin tried to shake the people off, but it was useless. just as jimin was trying to kick the people away, hwayoon began to walk around the room. he checked the toilets, and checked the cabinets in the room.

then, he noticed a big box in one of the cabinet. he frowned and pulled the box out. he made sure jimin was looking and pulled the lid off the box.

hwayoon frowned and found nothing, so he pushed it back in. hwayoon shook his head and walked towards jimin.

"please cooperate with us, jimin..." hwayoon mumbled as jimin was being carried away.

jimin couldn't fight anymore. he was starting to get too weak. if he fought with them and they gave him a punch, most probably it could be on his tummy. he couldn't do that to his unborn child. 

jimin was slowly being carried through different levels, and finally they've reached the top. it was where all the other healthcare were at. dentist, doctors, were all there on stand by. they carried jimin to the dentist area and plopped him down onto the chair. he made sure to rest a hand on his baby, trying to make sure that the baby was doing fine. 

the people began to strap jimin's hands and legs down to the chair, no matter how much he wanted to touch his baby bump again, he couldn't. 

jimin just laid there, motionless as hwayoon entered the room. "the dentist would be in any moment, please stay still, mr park." 

hwayoon then took a seat beside jimin as the two of them waited for the dentist to come. 

the door opened and revealed a tall male with jet black hair and he was wearing a white coat over his dark grey button up shirt and black pants

"i am so sorry for being late, i will check up on the patient now."

hwayoon stood up as the dentist went over to jimin.

"p-park jimin ?" the dentist stopped when he saw was on the chair. 

jimin squinted a little to see who was in front of him as there were lights glaring right at the dentist's face.

there stood the person who bullied him a lot when he was still studying. 

"kim soonjang..." jimin whispered, hating the way the name just rolled off his tongue. 

the dentist gulped and nodded. "i'm so sorry jimin... i'm so sorry for what i've done to you... you look so much better, i hope everything is alright... i hope that the bullying didn't land you... here..." 

hwayoon sighed and shook his head. "held hostage. please do this quickly, mr kim. you can do the catching up later..." hwayoon said irritatedly. 

 soonjang nodded as he pressed a button which caused the chair to lower down so that the dentist can examine jimin's teeth.

this is it. there is nothing he can do. this is the moment where all hell break lose. he can't...

"i'm sorry..." jimin whispered quietly when soonjang tried to get jimin to open his mouth.

"jimin come on, we need to get this over and done with, please ?" soonjang pouted as he placed down his instruments and looked up to jushin.

"force it open."

soonjang and jimin gulped, but soonjang had no choice but to follow hwayoon's orders. he was his boss after all. 

"jimin, i'm so sorry..." soonjang whispered to jimin as he forced jimin's mouth open a little and plugged a thick rope with two small blunt hooks behind jimin's front two teeth.

jimin screamed as he felt his jaw being opened widely. 

the sight caused hwayoon and soonjang to stare at jimin in shock. there sat the fangs in jimin's mouth. large and sharp, so sharp that it almost look like a knife. 

"vampire..." hwayoon gulped again and soonjang stepped back from the chair.
