Ok I hate it when a story is about something specific and takes so long to get to the part that actually makes sense so I'm starting from right after they met Neal. I will obviously not be sticking to storyline at all times, probably little to no flashbacks but references may be made to them through the story and I will be making up my own stuff or how I want it to go down with this character who brings out the good in the evil, cringe I know but if you don't like that this is a warning don't read it.Love once upon a time, but hate reading just ship things on Wattpad about it if you have sujestions comment please. Xx enjoy maybe I'm not the best writer.

Chapter one

The weight if her lies had begun to crush Emma, she saw what they had done to her relationship with her son who she had just been reunited with. That lie wasn't even that bad, it apparently had little effect on what was fated to happen and was only to spar the feelings of a child, and possibly her own. Emma did not want to open any of her open wounds, finding them to painful at the time but the out come wasn't as bad as she originally thought. Neal wanted to know Henry, and vice versa, they wanted to be a family and she was nearly the cause of that not happening. Maybe coming clean about everything would be better than just waiting for someone to dig up her past, and find out her secrets, it had happened before. Henry deserved to know about her, and if things went well, if they found her she could see just what her little Bambi grew up to be like.

Emma POV

Henry deserves to hate me we have been back in Storybrook for 3 days already, Henry and Neal are getting along so well, doing father son activities from the enchanted forest like, practicing sword fights in the forest while I just sit at my desk at the station alone "working". He hates me, well acts like he does, I know he still cares but I've broken his trust, which if he's anything like me which I know he is, it'll be hard to get back.

I don't know what to feel now, every time I think I'm protecting him I've messed up. I lie to protect him and it blows up in my face and just makes him feel angry and hurt. Will this happen with all my lies, I mean I haven't told him many but would he consider not mentioning something a lie. Would the fact he didn't ask be a valid argument if it came up, or should i just walk up to him and say 'Hi Henry how's it going?, just wanted to tell you, you have a sister, so wanna go to grannies?' No thats to forward maybe but I do have to tell him, I mean I love him so much and lying will only ruin our relationship further. I might be wrong but if I don't come clean now and tell Henry everything I may lose what we have built forever. Should I do a trial on someone else like Mary-Margret, she is my 'mum', though it's still weird we are the same age, and if I don't tell him first will that make him more angry. That is a possibility on it's own, I know that Henry isn't the only one that deserves the truth keeping this secret isn't fair anymore, Neal's back and knows about Henry. He loves him and is trying to be a good father. I can't keep hiding this even if they all hate me or resent me I need to come clean. I have to tell them both together, today, Neal needs to know he has a daughter and Henry needs to know about his twin. I never thought I'd have this talk when I gave them up, I never thought they'd be separated, but here we are. It is my lie and I need to come clean. Now.

No POV

Emma grabbed her red leather jacket and keys. She was a woman on a mission and had decided to move before she changed her mind again and started thinking to much. She got in her car and drove to Grannies while looking around for the two boys. She barely notice when she parked and started getting out of the car, only when she heard the chiming of a bell and laughter signalling she had entered the Diner, and luckily for her just the two people she was wanting to and was equally dreading seeing where sitting in a booth near the back with ice cream sundaes, they didn't look like they just met three days ago and this certainly didn't look like two people who where about to get further life changing news anytime soon.

Emma almost talked herself out of it, she didn't want to burst the happy bubble they had surrounded themselves in, but she didn't let it stop her, they had to know the truth.

Emma made her presents known immediately "Henry! Neal!" She only realised how loud she was when the whole diner went quiet, and everyone turned to look at her. Including the people she had called out for.

They both turned towards her and she saw the discomfort on her sons face caused by her presence, it broke her heart knowing she made him feel this way around her and she knew she was about to make it so much worse.

"Hey, Emma" when Neal spoke to her there was forced kindness in his voice, he was still angry at her but didn't want that to cloud Henry's judgment of her. She was his mother after all. " Did you need something, I'm pretty sure Henry's with Regina tonight and we still have a couple hours to kill or am I wrong." There was definitely more edge to his voice the more he spoke and it really shook Emmas confidence but she came this far.

"Actually, I have to tell you both something, it's ummm.... important. I mean I think you'd wanna know.... or that you should know that's probably more accurate". She was messing it up, she had never been so nervous in her life and she had twin babies in jail. "It's terrible timing I mean we're still trying to work out Cora's angle and where Regina fits in our lives now, but lying to spare feelings hasn't worked out in my favour and I know you won't like it but if we talk now we can move on quicker and hopefully solve it." She was now rambling this was not Emma or how she usually was. Emma was awkward everyone knew that putting it down to her new knowledge of her family and position as "saviour" but neither Neal nor Henry knew what to expect. She was so out of character they where scared of what was to come, they had no idea what it could be that was upsetting her so much. What had she done? Was it really this serious?

"Emma, you need to calm down. Just tell us what's wrong I'm sure it's not that bad, I mean you know my 'story' I've seen and heard worse than you could ever tell me I'm sure. Just breathe and speak" Neal was trying to bring an end to the uncomfortable situation. Henry was getting agitated in anticipation and he didn't want Emma's stress to rub off on the boy and start an argument before she told them the truth whatever that may be.

Neils words where enough to dull Emma's anxiety even a little, it stopped her rambling and gave her time to breathe. She thought carefully about what to say but in the end it blurted out of her mouth before she formed a concise sentence. "I had twins"
