"Let's go then." I said, taking her hand in mine and walking with her to the elevator.

We said our goodbyes before getting into the elevator and making our way down to the almost empty lobby, excitement obviously took over her as she dragged me out of the building and into the snow.

"Hey, slow down, I don't want you slipping and hurting yourself or the babies." I said quickly.

She nodded and began walking at a normal pace by my side, well as normal paced as a pregnant woman could walk anyway, I could see that the further into the pregnancy she got, the more she struggled with things I would find easy. We walked for a while, talking about nothing and everything all at the same time and it was so much fun, it might not seem like much to some people but just spending time with Abi made me happy.

"Oh my god, Clint look!" Abi squealed, running up to the pet store.

It was one of the only stores open and she was pressed against the glass window, peering inside at the three puppies that were in a pen in the middle, all of the other cages were empty which was a little confusing.

"Clint can we please go inside!" She begged.

"If we go in there I know you aren't going to leave without an animal." I said, trying to stop the grin that wanted to form on my lips.

"Is that such a bad thing?" She asked, batting her eyelids.

"It is when Tony has banned all animals from the tower." I said with a sigh.

"He lets you in there though doesn't he?" She asked playfully.

"Ouch." I said, clutching my chest which made Abi laugh.

"You know I'm only kidding, but Tony can't exactly say anything if we just take a puppy home." She said hopefully.

"I know you aren't going to give this up until we go inside and look, so let's go." I said and she cheered.

We went inside and the woman behind the desk was just walking over towards the three puppies to feed them.

"I don't know what we are going to do with you three." She said with a sad sigh as she placed three bowls of food into the pen for them.

"Oh my god they're adorable!" Abi said to me, quickly dragging me over to the pen.

Inside the pen was a with piercing blue eyes, a tiny with one green eye and one blue eye, and there was an that was just like a little ball of fluff with legs. I couldn't deny what Abi had said, they were adorable but if I admitted that to her she would want one of them.

"They sure are." The woman who fed them said.

"What are their names?" Abi asked as she leant in and stroked them.

"We don't name them, it makes it harder for the new families to name them if we do, plus it makes it harder when they go." The woman said sadly.

"Where are all of the other animals?" I asked her.

"Sold, the shop is closing today because I don't have the money to run it anymore which is why these little guys have to go today or they're going to the shelter. I can't take them with me but if I could then I would without a doubt." She explained.

"Clint." Abi said and I knew exactly what she was thinking because I was thinking it too.

"I know." I breathed as I leant down and picked up the husky with the two different coloured eyes.

He was tiny, about half the size of the other husky, but he was so adorable! As soon as I lifted him up he started licking my face and trying to snuggle closer to me, how the hell was I going to say no when Abi asked the question I knew she would.

"Here, sit down." The woman instructed, pointing to the floor by the pen.

Abi and I did as she said and sat down, I kept the husky in my arms as she opened the pen and let the other two out, they instantly jumped on us and I fell in love. I've always wanted dogs but due to being an agent I didn't want to get one in case the worst happened and I didn't come home.

"Clint." Abi said again, as the little fluff ball of a dog climbed onto her lap and got comfortable.

"Tony's going to kill me." I said and her eyes lit up.

"We'll take all three off your hands if you'd let us." Abi said to the woman.

"Are you sure?" She asked, her eyes flicking to Abi's stomach.

"Positive." We both said at the same time.

Around 20 minutes later we were walking out of the pet store with three animal carriers and two huge bags full of the necessities for them. I was not looking forward to going back to the tower, Tony was going to have my head for not saying no to Abi but let him try and say no to Abi and three of the cutest puppies ever.

"Tony is not going to be happy." Abi said with a chuckle.

"Well like you said, there's not much he can do about it now." I said with a shrug as we turned the corner and the tower came into view.

"We need to decide names." Abi said as we neared the tower.

"I like Diesel for this big guy." I said, lifting up the carrier with the pure white husky in it.

"And what about Tucker for this little one and Murphy for this guy." She said pointing to the little husky in the carrier she was holding and then at the Australian shepherd in the other carrier I was holding.

"Those names are great, let's just hope Tony doesn't get too mad." I said as we stepped into the tower.

Happy was just walking out and his eyes widened when he saw us and all of the carriers and bags in our hands.

"Tony is not going to be happy." He said, a small smile playing on his lips.

"Oh we know, we are just hoping he's in a good mood." Abi said.

"Him and Pepper have just had an argument, so good luck." He said as we stepped into the elevator.

"Well hopefully he's in his room and won't come out until we can hide these little guys in your room." Abi said, looking a little worried now.

"Yeah, hopefully." I said as I watched the numbers slowly rise until we got to the floor where the living room was.

Before the elevator doors even opened I could hear voices and Abi looked up at me with a worried expression on her face, I just hoped I wasn't showing how worried I was.

"It's going to be fine, if Tony asks just tell him it was my idea." I said as the doors started to open.

She nodded, although she didn't seem too happy about the idea, and we stepped out of the elevator to see everyone but Tony sat on the couches.

"Have you two got a death wish?" Nat asked us instantly.

"Where's Tony?" Abi hissed.

"Probably down in the lab or in his room." Pepper said angrily.

"Guys, meet Diesel, Murphy and Tucker." I said and we let them out all in that order.

The others all gushed over them and made a fuss of them, Pepper's mood changed almost instantly which was great and I just hoped that Tony's reaction was the same as everyone else's.

"What the hell is going on here?" A cold voice came from behind us and I froze instantly.

Well, here goes absolutely nothing.
