I woke up glancing at the time on my phone, the time signalling that it's almost 8
"Shit," I mumbled, flying out of bed, my vision going dark for a second due to the sudden movement
Why didn't anybody wake me up. I rushed to spread the bed then getting myself ready, borrowing some clothes from Elizabeth's closet. The shirt I borrowed was a little tight as my chest area was a bit larger than those of my best friend
I ran downstairs to see Elizabeth's parents around the table. I greeted them as I stepped in
"Why didn't anyone wake me up,"
"We thought you could need some sleep. We know you most likely haven't gotten a good nights sleep so we thought why not enjoy it. You don't have to go to school today if you don't want to though," A voice sounds from behind me
I turned around to see Liz walking up to me
"I did enjoy the sleep but I don't like the fact that i'm going to be late for school. And why aren't you at school?" I asked her
"There's nothing important going on today," she shrugged
"In that case, can you drop me off to school please,"
"What about breakfast?" She asked
"I'll eat in the car,"
I waved her parents goodbye and sat in the passenger seat of her car
She left me at the school entrance and I rushed to get inside. I'm so freaking late and it's the same class the teacher was talking about how I shouldn't sleep in her class.
What's her name again? Ms. Tylon?
"We meet again," I turned around, startled, to see Curious George walking up behind me
I ignored him and continued walking
"It's not nice to ignore people,"
Ignore
"I'm talking to you," he hissed, grabbing onto my wrist
"I don't like being ignored,"
Does anyone?
"Boo-hoo, cry me a river. I'm late for class so let go of my hand,"
"What's wrong with you," he narrowed his eyes at me
What's wrong with ME? He's not serious right now
"Nothing that you'd care about,"
"True, but i'm curious, remember," he smirked
"Go be curious about someone else. I have nothing to tell you. And for someone you're not interested in you have a funny way of showing it,"
"I don't know what you're thinking, but let me make this clear. I tolerate you because you're hot and because you're in my class. I talk to you cause I don't want to seem like a prick. As you said yesterday, we are in two totally different worlds. I'm at the top of the chain while you, you dangle all the way at the bottom. Don't think that because I talk to you means anything. You're my servant...in AND out of school," he lets go of my hand
"People like you disgust me, thinking you're all that,"
"Think? No, I know i'm all that," he laughed
I gave him a glare and walked off, the bell ringing, signalling that it was the end of first period.
I quickly made my way through the crowd of people, making my way to my other class
