Chapter 11: ignore

Dante's PoV

(The next day)

I was sitting on the couch with Travis, an awkward silence stood between us.

Suddenly the door knocked. Travis stood up and walked over to the window, looking out of it.

"Dante?" He said turning to me

"Mhm," I hummed in response

"Do you want to answer the door, it's Vylad," he said to me

I shook my head.

"Tell him I'm not here," I said then went to my room

I heard the door open and then talking a bit before the door shut again.

Travis came into my room a few minutes later with a concerned look on his face. He sat down on my bed next to me.

"Are you okay Dante?" He asked

"I'm fine, I'm sorry for shouting at you yesterday,"I apologised

"It's okay, but are you sure your okay?" He asked again

I didn't answer that time.

"Did something happen between you and Vylad, it's not like you to ignore him," he said

"I just...can't face him right now," I said

He hugged me then left my room. I laid on my bed, feeling guilty about ignoring Vylad.

Travis's PoV

Dante seemed off, really off. He would never ignore Vylad like that, maybe something did happen between them.

I got on my shoes and went over to Aph's house.

When I knocked on the door Katelyn answered. Once she saw me she immediately slammed the door in my face. I sighed.

The door opened again, this time revealing a short raven haired girl.

"Oh hey Travis!" She said cheerfully

"Hey," I said

"Come in" she said smiling

We walked to her room. When we entered her room I saw Zane sitting on the floor next to some horsies.

"Zane, do you mind if Travis joins us?" She asked him

"U-ugh fine," he said

We went to sit down next to him and the horsies.

"So Travis, as you can see here, I'm forcing Zane to play horsies with me," she said

I laughed a bit at that. I already knew Zane actually liked playing with the horsies. It's really cute actually.

Laurance's PoV

Maybe I should just tell Garroth, I mean I really can't hide it forever, or maybe I can?

Garroth's been my best friend since high school and I really don't want to ruin anything. But it's getting way too hard to keep in.
