"Sasha, shut up-" Cassidy slurred making her way towards the front door of her house. She had just come back from a party that was chaotic but also worth going to. The party was boring but at least she got a little alcohol to get through it. She was stumbling all over the place but thankfully managed to get to the front door.
"Shhh, be quiet Liv." Sasha whispered to their other friend who was in the same condition as the rest of them. The three were way to drunk to function but at least they didn't drive back to Cassidy's house.
"Oh my god, shut up." Cassidy whispered to Olivia who just slammed the front door. What they weren't expecting was a sudden bright light coming from the living room.
"Shit-" Cassidy muttered under her breath, she knew this day was bound to come but she never thought that certain day would be today.
"Cassie, it's 3:44. In the morning." Mr. Darlington, stated in a strict tone.
"Look Mr. Darlington, it's not her fault, we talked her into it-" Sasha rambled trying to get Cassie out of the current situation that was not going to end well.
"Girls, just go upstairs." He sighed, taking off his reading glasses. Olivia and Sasha both looked at each other knowing that Cassidy might not make it out alive.
"Good night Mr. Darlington." The two drunk girls slurred in unison as they made their way up the stairs, struggling to do so.
"I'm sorry." Was all that came from the now quiet girl.
"I'm sorry, that's it. Cassie this is the third time this week, what's happening to you."
"Nothing Dad, I'll clean up my act I promise."
"Good, cause I don't know how long this can go on for. You are slowly spiraling out of control sweetie, I'm worried about you."
"Like you were worried about Charlie." Cassidy whispered under her breath looking down at her dirty white tennis shoes.
"What did you just say."
"Nothing I-"
"No, what did you just say under your breath. I'm not deaf Cassie, I heard you say something."
"Like you were worried about Charlie, there. Happy now?" She sassed back.
"Wow." He sighed sitting back down into his old leather chair. The room was silent but the tension was astronomical.
"Since you want to act like an adult you will take responsibility like an adult."
"What the hell does that mean?"
"You're getting cut off and to actually know what's its like to make your own money, you're getting a job."
"Fine, where? At the country club cause you'll see me on the golf course then." She sassed back not knowing what she was in for.
"No, you're getting a job in the cut, by tomorrow evening you better have a job or you won't be here during the school year."
"What are you suggesting?"
"Military school."
She sighed not wanting to continue the conversation. She always knew in the back of her mind that she had to get her act together but not this soon, I mean summer barley even started. She dragged her feet up the long staircase, seeing her door ajar open.
"How bad was it?" Sasha asked sitting next to Olivia who was seated on the bed. Cassidy stayed silent as she slipped off her dirty old tennis shoes. She drunkenly walked towards her bed and plopped down.
