Chapter 1 - The Angel's dream

Where am I ? My head hurts it has been spinning nonstop. I can't even use my magic here.

I got up from the comfy bed and thoughts were all over my head.

" Why is my magic not working?"
" What happened yesterday?"
" I want to go home"

I sat on the bed which seem like forever. Every time when I try to recall what happened, my head hurts badly. Did i get a concussion?

Wait a minute, Angels don't get concussions. What nonsense was I sprouting.

Hello, you're finally awake - a distinct man's voice

Ahhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!! - Me screaming 😱

I had a shock from this voice
I got up from the bed and walked right in front of this gentleman and instinctively did what I had to do

*PIAK *

*MY HAND INSTINCTIVELY SLAPPED HIM*

A wave of terror engulfed him and I was immediately shocked at my actions.

Sky POV :
What did I deserve to be slapped
I merely gave her a place for her to rest...

I gulped and realised what I had done to this innocent man in front of me. I breathed deeply for seconds and started to get my thoughts straight. I looked at this human from up to down. He was actually a beautiful being which seems like out of this world but now I didn't have the time to admire him.

You may think that I am a drama Queen but it was a normal reaction for a virgin girl who have no clue who this guy was and waking up at a unknown place made it ten times worst. It does happen in real life sometimes you know.

I snapped out from my trace of thoughts and immediately went back to reality.

"Where am I?" I muttered in embarrassment.

"You're in my home" he replied politely.

"Why am I at your home?" I said.

He sighed and signalled me to take a sit. I sat down.

I looked at his face and noticed the redness on his face due to my reckless behaviour just a moment ago. There was an aching sensation in my heart  for some reason. It was weird as I felt like this  for the first time in my life...

"Where is the ice pack?" I said.

"In the fridge", he replied in doubt.

"I am going to take the ice pack, just wait here" I assuringly said.

"Wait, you do not know where the fridge is at remember this is my house" he said.

" Than I will just follow u..." , I whispered.

I followed the handsome gentleman walking behind him like a frightened girl, minding each and every step I took as if I was sneaking into his home.

Strangely, I felt comfortable in his home. His home was very cosy and it was decorated with white modern minimalist furniture and everything was very neat. While I was observing my surroundings, I looked over to the man in front of me and we made eye contact. (AWKWARD)

I quickly looked away and snatched the bag of ice pack at his hand. We made physical contact and my skin tinkled at his touch.

I told him to sit at the couch and he obediently followed my instructions.

" I am very sorry about what just happened, I reacted too quickly and now your face has the hand prints of my hand". I sincerely apologised.

He chuckled and said , " It's alrights, now you need to cover my face with your hand instead of you holding my hands". He said.

I had a major heart attack when he said that. My cheeks was burning and I did not know what to reply. I knew there was some sort of attraction between us but did we really got close yesterday...

"Do you really not remember what happened yesterday?" , He said frowning.

The deep frown on his forehead told me that he was in pain when he said that. I feel so sorry for him that I wanted to burst out in tears but I was holding them back. I hope that he didn't notice my watery eyes. I pretended that my there were dust in my eyes but any every angel knew that we were not able to react to the surroundings as a form of protection from God. However, he won't know that since he's a mortal.

"My name is Sky, we met yesterday at the club with my friends. We drank together for a long time and we were all drunk. Your friend, Trina followed Ryan in his car to bring her back. Colby and Lucas went their separate ways. Colby wanted to bring you home but you kept insisting to follow me and you and him even fought because u wanted me to bring you home so I had no choice but to bring you. However, you refused to tell me your home address so I had no choice but to bring you to my home". he narrated.

" Did anything happen in the car ?" I asked .
