SISTER- MY TINATANGI

26 7 6

She's my rain
Washing my grieves,
She's my sunshine
Blooming my budding leaves.
She's my kaleidoscope
She's seen me yell and cry,
Untangling my tangled curls and emotions
Hunting down my web of lies.

She laughs on me
Mocking my scarlet cheeks,
But still manages to discern those words
I can't gather myself to speak.

She may not have the power to read my messed brain,
She may not be able to stop my throbbing veins,
But she has learned those rhymes-
Which synchronize this beating heart of mine,
Which bursts this insecure shell of mine,
She has readily melted herself to let me shine.

She may not have a magical wand or wings or crown,
She may not have a carriage to push me towards my dreamland at  midnight,
BUT
She has the spell to make me laugh while my eyes are misted,
She has the warmth to protect me from the mesmerizing arms of lies.

And not to forget the
BEAR HUG
Which tells me-
Your tears aren't just salty droplets
They are pearls from oyster which are arcane from this cruel world.

She's just a spider web
Through which my dark light passes
AND
Gets converted in a  Rainbow.
Eva - You got the best in Me.
