WIN'S
POINT OF VIEW

Personally, I needed to think more and focus on something that would make me feel better. So I finally started painting again. Bumili ako ng materials and cleared one of the rooms in our house and made it my art room. I specifically told everyone not to bother me whenever I'm working.

I was so thrilled when I looked at the empty canvass knowing that it's going to turn into something magical the moment I'm finished with it. I looked at the palette and the paint brush in my hand. Grabe ang rush of happines and excitement na naramdaman ko.

It's been three days na puro painting lang ang inatupag ko. I actually liked it kasi nakalimutan ko lahat ng problema ko. Art was really therapeutic. I didn't check on my social media accounts and turned my phone off para makapag-focus ako sa ginagawa ko.

"I'm sorry to bother you.

"I'm glad to see you painting again.

Alam n'yo na, adulting and stuff. But now, gusto kong balikan ang passion ko."

"I'm happy for you."

"Thanks, 'mom."

She looked at my painting. He was sitting on the floor while hugging his naked body as a symbol of his acceptance sa totoo niyang pagkatao.

"This is beautiful," she commented and I could really feel that she meant it.

"Yeah, the goal is to have it done tonight."

"I am so proud of you." Nagulat na lang ako when I saw her tearing up.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I wanted to hug her but I couldn't since my hands were dirty.

"Wala. I'm just a little emotional tonight.

"No, ano ka ba. Walang problema."
