"Ugh!!" I groan out loud as I look at my phone while walking by my best guy friend Tanaka.

"Ugh yeah I know right" he jokes even though he doesn't know why I groaned

"No, you don't get it. My ex keeps on posting about how he gets bitches and has all these girls over him even though I dumped him" I explained to him as he just nods and listens

"Well why do you care that he's saying all this. It's not hurting you is it?" He asked genuinely concerned for my feelings.

"Well yes and no. Yes cause I don't want to look like a hoe cause I dated him with him saying he has girls all over him. Also No cause I don't care about him anymore. He's an ex plus I like a different dork." I say looking away blushing

Tanaka pov:
Why did she look away blushing when she said that... WAIT. DOES SHE LIKE ME? no.. she's so pretty, smart, funny even beautiful.

"OH yeah? Who is it?" I asked in a playful tone but I'm really dying to know

"Well I guess there's no point in hiding it, I like you. You make me laugh, feel safe, even better you make me feel heard and actually listen to my problems. But your probably don't feel the same way" she says as she puts her f/c hood up and looks down.

"Woah woah, no. I l-like you too. Your smart, funny, pretty, even beautiful. Will you be my girlfriend" I ask her

Your pov:
Wait..he asked me to be his girlfriend
"Y-yes, yes I would love to be your girlfriend!" I said as I wrap my arms around him for a tight hug as tears fall down my face. "Thank you, for making me feel like a person"

"Of- of course. You are amazing and make me feel comfortable. I think I'm even in love with you" he says as we make eye contact while hugging.

He leans in as I lean in to. We kissed. The kiss was amazing, it felt like time stopped and everything was still.

"I love you y/n" Tanaka says as we pull away.

"I love you too, Ryu" I say back as our foreheads touch.

We walk away holding hands disappearing into the atmosphere walking home.
