Elena's pov Today is the first day of school, hooray! If you couldn't tell I'm not looking forward to it but at least I can see bonnie. Last year was hell, finding out about a whole new world, being sacrificed and all that. I hope that this is a fresh start and that I finally get some freedom. The Salvatore brothers are still head over heels for me, which I don't get. Stefan and Damon didn't get the hint that I don't like them, they just hang around and follow me like lost puppies.Caroline has been distant, she had a major rant at me the other day saying how I was selfish and that I was an attention seeker, just like Katherine. Katherine, surprisingly me and her have got on great, she's been hanging around mystic falls and been dropping in now and then. She's not actually that bad if you get to know her. Jeremy has finally got over everything and we've never been closer, all I want is for him to be happy. During the summer holidays I had a few flings with a couple of guys, but I could stick with anyone, I don't know I kinda had this guilty feeling telling me not to date anyone. Anyway, it's time to get ready for school, I hopped in the shower and decided to change my style so I went with something cute but also badass. I decided to do my hair half up,half down with waterfall curls
