" y/n! breakfast is ready!" I heard my mom shouts downstairs.
" coming mom!" I yelled back.
This is the first day of school and I'm in my last year in college. The last three years in my college life are full of surprises, literally. I just hope this year it'll be peaceful because I'm so done with all the dramas I'd experience.
I went downstairs to start my morning routine. I got up early, maybe I'm just excited that finally it's the last year of suffering.
"good morning mommy!" I greeted happily.
"morning sweetie! you take a seat, I'll wake your brother up" she then kissed my forehead and walk upstairs to my younger brother's bedroom.
My mom is a single mom, she raised me and my little brother all by herself and that's the reason why I love her so much, I'll do everything for her. My mom and dad got divorced when I was in elementary, my mom caught my dad cheating. At first, dad was forgiven because she loves him so much and she doesn't want us to experience the same way she felt when her father left them for another woman. But then, my dad still keep seeing that woman until my mom can't take it anymore.
"goody morny!" my brother is happily hopping towards me, giving me a tight hug.
Sometimes, I mistook my brother as an elementary kid the way he acts but then, he only acts that way in-front of mom and me. Seunghoon is in his fourth year in high school and good thing I'm a scholar, it lessen the fees mom should pay. (i wrote the brother's name to avoid confusion. thanks ;>).
"mom, I'll go up to take shower. finish your breakfast and take a shower afterwards, Hoon. I'll wash the dishes mom." Hoon is very slow when eating, it's like he's waiting for the food to dissolve in his mouth.
"Hoon! hurry up, we're gonna be late for school!" I'm in the living room right now, waiting for my sloth little brother to get down. Waking up early is useless.
"yes yes ma'am! relax, okay?" I raised my right eyebrow and stare at him. He then smile and ran towards the door.
Oh God, I can't even urgh
"text me after your classes are all done" I remind him.
"yes yes" he kiss my forehead before leaving. Hoon is very caring and sweet when it comes to mom and I, maybe because as the only boy he wants me and mom to feel that he can protect us, that he is always there for us.

"girl!" I almost hit the person who shouted behind me. Good thing I stopped myself.
"fuck, Yerim. I almost hit you" I groan.
"y/n, don't call me yerim. My name's yeri" I don't get her why she doesn't want to be called Yerim, it's a cute name tho. Still I love teasing my best friend so I always ended up calling her Yerim. (yeri of rv is your best friend, tho u can change it if you like).
"good thing we're still classmates" I told her as I'm arranging my stuffs inside my bag.
"duh! we have the same course" She said with duh expression and duh voice.
Yerim's quite savage sometimes, i mean every time. We've been best friends since high school, she's the only best friend I've got but I'm not complaining. I'm contended and happy, we're like sisters and we both know each other secrets. It's quality over quantity.
"good morning!" We stand up as the professor's entering the room.

"I'm Professor Lee Sungju. You all can sit down now. First, please introduce yourself. " I hate self introduction, I can't stand to be the center of attention.
We started introducing ourselves. I didn't look the person who's currently introducing because I know that I always forgot their names afterwards.
then, came my turn
" Hi, I'm Kang Y/N." I said then half smile.
"Hello everyone! I'm Kim Yerim, but please call me Yeri" yerim's always bright, she's like a sunshine. We're kinda opposite but hey opposites do attract.
The Introduce yourself thingy is still on-going. I'm humming a song in my head then suddenly I froze. It's like my mind is malfunctioning. I heard it, loud and clear.
