I open the door slowly. They've been allowing us to see him, one person at a time and for some reason they made we wait until after, Betty, Archie, Cheryl, Moose and Kevin.

"How are you," I whisper and he chuckles lightly, which seems to hurt him.

"Lovely," he replies sarcastically and I take his hand and press my head against it.

"What happened," I question and he sighs softly.

"Honestly I don't remember much. I ran out of the house, into Fox Forest, ran through the Southside and that's it. I don't even remember if I was a person or not when I ended up in the river," he explains.

I pull my chair closer to his bed and rest my chin on his leg. "You could've died."

"I could've, but I didn't," he replies and stares at the cieling and whispers something to himself.

"What was that love," I ask and he smiles at me.

"Nothing Reg," he replies and rests his head against the pillow and takes a long shaky breathe. I'll worry about that later. I don't want to push him to much. They aren't sure if he's completly stable yet.

"I'm thinking that maybe you and Kevin can head to Greendale or something and go get your prom outfits," I whisper and he smiles softly.

"Jeez Mantle. You haven't actually asked me to go with you yet," he says and I chuckle.

"Will you, my precious Omega, go to Prom with me," I ask and he nods softly.

"Obviously," he replies and there's a soft knock at the door before it opens and a nurse steps in.

"It's time for someone else to come in," she says and I let out an annoyed sigh.

"Hey," Braeden whispers and turns my head softly. "You can come lay with me when everyone else is done okay."

"Okay," I reply and kiss his forehead lightly. "I'll see you later love," I whisper and take his hand for a moment. "And if you ever scare me like that again, I swear," I say and he pulls me down for a real kiss.

"No promises," he replies and then lays his head back down.

I walk out and watch as the nurse leads a boy with blond hair in. "Who's that," I ask Moose, who's sitting in the same spot he was before, but now Kevin is in his lap.

"No clue, but Veronica says he knows him and that they were very close," Moose says between kisses with Kevin.

"Where's she? I need to have a word with her," I ask and Moose nods to the corner of the room, where she seems to be trying to be as unnoticable as possible. I approach and her face goes from sorta nervous to very clearly annoyed.

"You here to scream at me because I am not in the mood," she hisses and I roll my eyes.

"No actually. I wanted to thank you. After all, you were going to bring him back to me," I say and she stares at me, horrified.

"I was only bringing him back because I was afraid of what would happen to him if he wasn't back sooner. I mean it's pretty clear how messed up you already made him," she grunts and I growl. "Calm down wolf. I don't want to fight you. I've already had a long day."

"Fine. I need to ask you something anyways," I grunt and she raises a brow. "Who is that blond guy? He ain't a wolf or vampire. What is he and more importantly, how the hell does he know my boyfriend," I question and she lets out a soft sigh.

"Well first off, he's a witch. I didn't know they knew each other when I called him, but Braeden was freaking out. He was in so much pain. I didn't have a choice, but to enlist magic help. Then he showed up, gave him a potion and when Braeden was able to function again and saw him, he ran off. I know some stuff, but it doesn't make sense and that's why I won't tell you that, because I don't know if it's safe for you to know," she says and I growl again and her eyes go wide. "Chill out Reggie. If you start a fight here, he will most certainly die. We both know he'll try to fight."

I hate admitting that she's right, but I have to. I take a few shaky breaths before composing myself. "Fine. I'll just talk to him myself. His turn with my love should be over by now anyways." As if I cued it, the door to his room opens and I see the blond boy walk out. He looks straight at me and I can see him sigh as he approachs.

"I'm guessing you want to talk," he asks and I don't answer.

"I'm gonna go talk to Cheryl," Veronica says and quckly walks away.

"Who are you, and how do you know him," I ask the moment Veronica's gone.

"My name is Luke and I'm," he cuts himself off.

"Tell me," I bark and he sighs again and looks me in the eye.

"I'm his ex."

DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNN. What will happen next? Only I know.
