“Well, Stephanie, since you already know T, you might as well meet the rest of us.” Troy said as we approached the table with 2 guys already sitting here.

Oh god, more people. “Troy? I’m not really good with…meeting new people.” I replied, thinking out loud.

“Oh, you’ll be fine. From what I see, you’re pretty cool. And if T’s still hanging with you, you must be. She doesn’t open up much to people, it’s usually just me and our little group of friends.” he said as we sat down.

T’s antisocial?…Are we talking about the same Tiffany?

“He’s right you know,” one of the guys at the table said as he joined into the conversation. He look pretty laid back and outgoing, wearing camos and cool graphic tee, “I know you’re wondering if we’re out of our minds, but if you notice, T doesn’t open up much but when does she’s pretty damn awesome.” he said with a big grin.

Uh oh, does T have a crush? I definitely have to meddle in this. I guess this stranger had more to say cause he kept talking with no hesitation. Yeah, he and T were perfect for each other. “Yeah, I don’t even know how she deals with Troy’s crazy ass in the first place, with hi-“he stopped, glancing Troy who was starting him down.

And…awkward silence.

“Well, I was gonna you until his ass decided to butt in,” Troy said, killing the tension in the air. “The talkative one here is Michael and the quiet one over here is Cecil. Guys this is Stephanie.” I glanced over to Cecil and waved and watched as he picked his head up slowly and wave, only to put his head back down and continue eating. “It would be better if you said something Cecil.” Troy said looking at him waiting for him to say something.

Another awkward silence.

Before Cecil could even say something, we heard the cafeteria doors open loudly.

“Steph! I’m so sorry! I didn’t know talking to that lady in main office would take so long! She just moves so damn slow, with her stinky ass breath!” T yelled as she collapsed in the seat right next to mine. “I see you’ve found these idiots.”

“Yea,” I said chuckling. “I found em’, well I found Tr-I mean we found each oth- arghh, everything’s coming out wrong.” I quickly covered my face to avoid Troy smirking directly at me only to uncover them again. “Why were you talking to lady in the front office?” I asked, quickly trying change the subject.

“Well, I wanted to try to get gym class at the same time as you since we have all the same classes except that one, but she started explaining why I couldn’t so I left. I would’ve been here before I caught Tracy in the hallways and told her ass off.” She glanced at Troy. "See what you caused?" I quickly turned to Troy, who looked embarrassed and pissed off at the same time.

"I told you I was sorry, damn, what more you want from me!" he yelled, slamming the table and storming off, leaving the whole cafeteria in an awkward silence.

Wow, three times in less than an hour.

As everyone stared him down as he busted put the doors, all I heard was a mumble. "I want you to get your shit together."

After sitting through 15 more minutes of agonizing tension after Troy left, lunch was finally over. Thank God.

"Damnit, I don't take this class with you," Tiffany whined as we walked into the hallway. "And my class is way on the other side of the building and I seriously cannot into any more trouble, I swear this school has it in for me."

"It's fine T, how hard can finding a gym be?" I replied.

"Um...Stephanie, we have like 3 gyms here, all on different sides of the building." she said with a blank face.

"Well, I'll take her, I have a feeling coach won’t mind me coming in late to help someone." I heard a familiar voice say again behind me.

Those damn hazel eyes are gonna be the death of me.

"Okay...sure." I said sheepishly.

"Alright now, be CAREFUL, I'll see you straight after the period. Troy...you already know." Tiffany, stated, only glaring at Troy, making me realize what happened just couple of minutes ago in the cafeteria.

"We'll talk later, you have some explaining to do." I said pointing at Tiffany as she looked confusingly at me.

Going to the gym was nerve-wrecking walking with Troy. Just standing side by side with made my palms sweaty, stomach flip-flop all over the place and my words stuck. Just as if he heard my inner thoughts he asked "Yeah, this is awkward. So I know this is only your first day here but how ya liking it so far?"

Damnit, now I have to reply.

"Well so far so good. I already have detention, but hey, could be worse right?"

And then he smiled, that adorable dimple coming from that gorgeous face of his. "True, true but detention on the first day? You're being a bad girl already new girl." he said with a smirk.

"Whatever," I replied laughing. "I didn't do anything, I just think Mrs. Smith is seriously out to get T. Speaking of being bad, what did you do to get T to say that stuff in the cafeteria, bad boy?"

Suddenly, that smirk he once wore quickly vanished. And reappeared right again. "It's nothing, just some bullshit that happened before you got here. Don't worry about it...it'll never happen again." he said with a amusing expression but with some sort of seriousness in his tone. "Well we're here new girl, I mean Steph. I definitely gotta figure you out." he stated as he opened the gym doors for me.
