Who's Zooming Who?

"Secrets can't hide in science. Medicine has a way of exposing the lies. Within the walls of the hospital, the truth is stripped bare. How we keep our secrets outside the hospital, well, that's a little different. One thing is certain. Whatever it is we're trying to hide, we're never ready for that moment when the truth gets naked. That's the problem with secrets. Like misery, they love company. They pile up and up, until they take over everything. Until you don't have room for anything else. Until you're so full of secrets, you feel like you're going to burst."

I rolled over and smiled at Derek as he rolled over at the same time waking up slowly. I kissed his forehead before getting up. I opened my door and looked down the hallway to see Meredith opening her door and Izzy and George standing by the bathroom.

"What is going on out here?" Meredith asked.

"Nothing." George said.

"Nothing." Izzy agreed. I walked over to them as George walked away. "He's freaking out because I caught him playing with little jimmy and the twins." Izzy said to Meredith and I. George turned around mad.

"I have a girlfriend." George said before stomping into his room and slamming his door. Derek walked out of my room and down to us.

"This sounds like fun out here." Derek said while putting on his shirt. His phone started ringing and he ignored it. I raised my eyebrows.

"Aren't you going to get that? It might be the hospital." I asked and Derek shook his head. I snatched his phone off of his hands and looked at it to see Addison's name flash across. My eyes widened and Derek looked at me.

"Meredith, can you go make some coffee please?" I asked and Meredith nodded before I dragged Derek into my room.

"Evie, it's not what you think." Derek started but I cut him off by throwing his phone at him.

"Why is your ex-wife calling you Derek?" I asked and he shrugged.

"I don't know. I haven't answered her." Derek replied. I scoffed before grabbing my bag and leaving the room running downstairs.

"Evangeline stop being a child. There's nothing to tell, I haven't spoken to her in months." Derek said yelling after me, but I ignored him and slammed the front door in his face.

Halfway through the day Meredith found me and told me that George had syphilis. Her and I walked into the room and opened the curtains to see George bent over and Alex behind him.

"Meredith, Evangeline, go away." George yelled at us, and we chuckled.

"Oh, George. Thought you could use some moral support." Meredith said as we walked around to stand next to Alex looking down at George's backside.

"No. No moral support. I'm indisposed here." George said. Meredith and I laughed.

"George, it's not a big deal." Meredith said grabbing George's hand.

"And you have a cute butt." I mentioned as George turned around embarrassed.

"I have a cute butt too. You want to see?" Alex said and I rolled my eyes.

"Oh, get out. You're doing it wrong." I exclaimed taking the needle from Alex and swapping spots.

"What...? Alex." George said as Alex left and Izzy walked in.

"What are we doing here?" Izzy asks walking around to stand beside Meredith.

"Breaking George's spirit." George replied.
