I was so interested on the concept. Unfortunately, I could not find anything about how the idea was created, why it was created, or what it means. When I looked up possible theories surrounding The Amazing World Of Gumball, I did see that someone was interested to know that no one else seems to be as enthusiastic as nor annoyed by Gumball and Darwin, which is something I never thought about. I found some and thought of some theories fo possibly explain.
1 . A 12 year old boy is in a coma, in which the world around him is being imagined.
2 . Dream sequence. A poor 12 year old boy is bullied and neglected, so he imagines/dreams.
3 . Plague/Illness. This is like a combination of 1 and 2, where he is dreaming during a plague or some sort of terminal illness such as a brain tumor, possibly explaining the bizarre world he imagines.
I know these sound morbid! With so many dark references, it's hard to not think of them. Tell me what you think! Comment if you have any other theories (with explanation) and I'll add them! Also, comment if you think one of these is right, why it's not, or any other information,reasons, opinions, and/or thoughts you might have!
