Double date?

Hand in hand we walked out of the kitchen, a warm feeling enveloping me.

"Ah there you two lovebirds are." Jazmyn says as we walk into the living room area. Daniel finds a seat next to Kelly, and pulls me into his lap, my back to his chest as his arms wrap around my waist.

Jazmyn gave me a look saying 'what is this?' and I just narrowed my eyes at her saying 'just don't say anything'.

"I would really like to know what y'all are talking about instead of trying to read your guys' faces." Corbyn said, referring to Jazmyn and I.

"I agree." Sebastian chimed in.

"Well you're not going too." I answered blatantly.

"Geez Daniel. Your girlfriend is being rude." Corbyn said, crossing his arms and pouting.

Daniel chuckled as I stuck my tongue out at Corbyn trying to ignore the heat rising to my face.

Corbyn and I had a very brother-sister relationship. Hence the whole childish behaviors.

"Isabel Valentina Rodriguez! You didn't tell me you guys were dating!" Jazmyn said, flailing her arms around, emphasizing her shock. Her wide smile telling me she was exaggerating on purpose.

"That's because we aren't." I said glaring at her. I knew what she was doing. I had already explained the sleepover and all the other events to her yesterday, after we talked for hours trying to catch up. So now, she is determined to make us get together.

"But we could be..." Daniel said out loud, turning me on his lap so that I was sideways and could see his face. I think all the girl's squeals could be heard from a mile away.

"Isabel-" He thought for a second. "Valentina?" He questioned.

I shook my head stifling a laugh. "Yeah, that's my middle name. But don't get used to it." I warned, pointing a finger to his chest.

He just chuckled. "Okay. Isabel Valentina Rodriguez, will you go on a date with me?"

"I'd love to, Daniel-"

"James!" Corbyn interjected, telling me his middle name. Lottie hit his arm, signaling him to be quiet, and he just made a pouty face at her. My eyes widened slightly as I looked back at Daniel. He looked away sheepishly for a second.

"James huh?" I smirked.

"Don't get used to it." He said, mocking me from before.

"Well, Daniel James Seavey, I would love to go on a date with you." I said smiling.

He smiled at me, and in that moment, we were just staring at each other. Ignoring all the squeals and cheers coming from the others in the room.

"OMG! We should have a double date!" Kelly suddenly exclaimed. But then she suddenly covered her mouth with her hand. Apparently she hadn't meant to say that out loud.

"Double date?" I said, raising an eyebrow. "Kelly what have you not told me?"

"Oh hush. It's not like you have never kept something from me." She said rolling her eyes.

"First off, don't dodge the question. Second, when did I keep something from you?!" I ask.

"When did you keep something from me?" She fake scoffed. "Maybe that time you kissed Daniel and didn't care to tell me about it until I forced it out of you!" She said nonchalantly, and everyone's attention turns on Daniel and I, and a variety of 'oh?!'s and 'what?!'s were said. I immediately regretted asking the question, and both Daniel's and my face flushed pink. Well, mine flushed red.

"You little brat!" I shout, trying to get up to hit her, but Daniel stops me by holding my waist, and sitting me back down. I cross my arms making a pouty face.

"They were gonna find out at some point." Daniel whispered in my ear, creating a shiver that ran through my whole body.

"YOU GUYS KISSED?!" Isabella practically screamed.

"...maybe?" I said looking down.

"And you didn't care to tell me about this?" Isabella said annoyed.

"It's not like I didn't want to! I was going to tell you, but you had just told me about your kiss with Zach, and I didn't want to steal your thunder!" By the look on everyone's faces it was apparent that no one else really knew about their kiss either. Isabella nodded, a blush setting on her face as she looked down. Zach who was sitting next to her chuckled nervously.

"So it seems Jonah is the only one here who doesn't have a significant other?" Sebastian said trying to work it all out in his head.

He was always an analyzer. Even with his lunch he would over analyze. I remember him making a pros and cons list of whether to pick an apple or banana for lunch. Just pick the apple or the banana, it's not that hard Sebastian.

"Well, actually... I asked Kelly out." Jonah said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oh. So I see you didn't care to tell me that JONAH ASKED YOU ON A DATE?!" I questioned.

"I- I was going to. But it just happened yesterday and it um... slipped my mind." She answered.

I just shook my head like I was 'disappointed', but in reality I was really happy for her.

"You know what? You guys should go tonight." Gabbie suggested.

"But what about playing a gameeee?" Jack complained, and Gabbie just gave him a look, which made him immediately shut up.

Kelly agreed though, getting up from her seat and pulling me off Daniel's lap.

"Hey!" I complained, as I was being dragged away from Daniel.

"Don't worry, you'll see your boyfriend soon. God you're more clinging than me." Kelly mutters loudly, and everyone sitting in the living room laughs. I blushed, embarrassed.

"We'll be back guys!" Kelly announces.

"Wait! Come give us all hugs! You should always give someone a proper goodbye, because you never know what can happen." Jazmyn says, smiling.

"Well hopefully nothing happens, but I agree." I smiled back at her, Kelly and I going around and giving everyone a hug. I kissed Lavender on her forehead since she was asleep, and when no one was really paying attention, I pecked Daniel's lips to which he pulled me into a hug.

"Don't take too long angel." He murmured into my ear. I pull away to see a smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes and mouthed 'I won't'.

I don't know why but his nickname of 'angel' has a big effect on me. And it annoys me how I just want to hear him say it all day.

We exchanged smiles and I head out the door with Kelly.

"Hurry up Pumpkin!" She says walking out.

"What are we even going to do?" I ask.

"Girl. We are going on a date with two of the hottest guys in the world. We have to look at least half decent." She says getting into the driver's seat. I chuckle.

How the heck did I get so lucky with Daniel?
