Your pain is my pain

I walked ito the field looking for Liam. When i found him seating on the bench talking to Mason. I started walking toward him only to be stopped by a hand holding my wrist. I turned around to see the same blond guy as before

"Let me go now" i said calmly

"come on sweetheart, don't be like that" he smiled

"you have a choose let me go or i break your wrist" I say sweetly

"okay okay but just hear me out" He holds his hands up in surrender

"i'm just wondering why are you with a loser like Liam" I growled at him for this

"He is three times the man you will ever be" and with that i walked away

When i reached Liam he was glaring at the blond

"Who is that anyway?" I asked

"That's Brett" Mason answered

"What were you talking about?" Liam all but growled at me so i sat down next to him

"He was just hitting on me but i don't care and neither should you" 

"I don't care if he is a foot taller then me i think i can take him" i nodded then look at Mason who was checking Brett out 

"yea" mason said liam looked at him then to Brett and back 

"what do you think your doing?" liam asked Mason 

"What?Me? Psh im agreeing with you, i'm being agreeable" lim looked from Mason to Brett again 

"you think His hot don't you?"I just stood there watching trying not to laugh 

"whatb psh no, no, not all, no way, maybe, yeah maybe a little!" I giggled at this 

"He wants to destroy me" Liam stated

"I think you can definitely take him.... And then..... Give him.... To me" we all laughed at this

"Nah man just go out there and kick there smug prep school asses

"Alright" they fist bump mason went to leave

"Rosa are you coming?" Mason asked

"I'll be there soon I just want to talk to liam first" mason nodded and started to leave again

"Wait mason where's Dylan?" Liam asked

"Oh he couldn't come mum made him go and get our cousin from out of town."mason said " I'll see you on the bleaches Rosa" mason winked making me blush when he had gone liam turned to me

"I just wanted to ask you to please forget what Kira told you, I'm fine, his in prison and I'm trying to move on" I looked down not want to see the look of pity on Liam's face when people find out they change the way the look at me but I can't handle Liam looking at me like that, I can't handle him seeing me as someone broken, someone damaged and someone that you need to handle with care.

Liam stopped my train of thought by grabbing my chin and looking me in the eyes but what I saw in his eyes wasn't pity what I saw was love and heat "why are you so reluctant to look at me" he looked concerned

"I didn't want to look up and see pity because everyone who knows sees me as something broken or damaged. I couldnt handle it from you, everyone else I can handle but not you. I just can't" liam pulled me into his arms

"Do you know what I thought when I heard? I thought you were strong before but now I know just how strong you really are. You survived no matter what he did to you, you survived. You, Rosa are a survivor but now you don't need to survive alone. Now you have me. No matter what you need I'll be there. Rosa your pain is my pain, your happiness is mine and your hope is mine. Now you will never be alone"

and then I did something I never thought I would do again. I cry because of what a guy said to me but this time I knew I was because Liam had just told me something I never thought I want to hear. Liam then kissed me and god was it a kiss that every girl dreamed of. The toe curling, leg popping kiss and then he was gone with a last whisper

"I play this game for you Rosa"
