Last Goodbyes

It was late at night, outside the window rain was hitting the window as the dark clouds engulf the moon.

Daewon was sitting in Jaehyun's lap as he was caressing the crying boys hair in a calming manner. Daewon's tears were falling as fast as the cold rain outside.

"W..we will be okay..right?" Daewon asked, looking into Jaehyun's eyes with a pleading look in his eyes.

Jaehyun just nodded as he embraced him closer to himself, he knew that he will have to go home soon so his father doesn't suspect anything.

"P..promise me that we will be together forever" Daewon whispered quietly, voice breaking while saying it.

Jaehyun just nodded, he knew that even if the boy in his arms would be on the other side of the world he would get on a plane and fly to find him in a heartbeat.

Daewon raised his hand, pointing his pinky finger at Jaehyun. "Pinky promise me that if whatever happens we will still find each other."

Jaehyun slightly smiled at the boy who was in tears but still acting in his goofy self.

Tired of waiting, Daewon picks Jaehyun's arm himself which made Jaehyun let out a small chuckle.

Jaehyun wrapped his finger around the smaller boys, smiling at him "I will never let you go" he confidently said, knowing that nothing can separate them.

Daewon, being slightly embarrassed played with the red tie that was tied around his wrist.

Suddenly a thunder bolt hits, Daewon hides in Jaehyun's chest and lets out a small cry for help.

Jaehyun chuckles at the boy's behavior as he looks into his eyes. Those beautiful marbles that he can't stop looking at and will never get bored of. He knows that he has fallen too deep to get out, nothing can save him from loving the boy with his whole heart, not even his father.

Jaehyun slowly leans in towards Daewon's face, he wanted him to be all his, he wanted to protect him from every danger the world holds and never let him see the darkness that it can bring.

But he knew he can't, no matter how hard he tried he will always be exposed to it.

Daewon closed it eyes, prepared for the moment when their lips touch. He wanted to make Jaehyun the happiest person possible, he wanted to hold him close and never let him go.

Soon Jaehyun came close enough, Daewon felt the soft skin on his own as he smiled in the kiss. They fitted perfectly, as if they were made for each other to connect.

Suddenly they heard the door be kicked open, Daewon quickly pulled away and looked at the man that was standing in the doorway. "What is happening here!?" the man who Daewon calls his father screams.

He quickly comes over to Daewon to pick him up and throw him on the floor, Daewon let out a small cry of pain at the impact. "I told you to not make contact with him!"

As soon as he said that another man came on the room, the man who is Jaehyun's father. He looked angry, enraged as he picked Jaehyun up and threw him on the wall. "After everything I did for you this is how you repay me!?" He screamed in Jaehyun's face.

"Dad! Stop! I love him" Daewon pleaded to his father who just made a disgusting face and slapped the poor boy afterwards "Love? How can two men love each other! You're just confused, I told you not to meet him again!" He yelled in Daewon's face as Daewon kept crying.

Meanwhile Jaehyun's father slapped his son with all his might "You're really choosing a twerp over the family business? I need a hair from you, that's why you were created!" He yelled in his sons face as Jaehyun just looked away.

"You better never see him again, we will be moving away!" The father said as he threw Jaehyun on the floor. "And you, I hope you rot in hell with what you did to my son" he yelled at Daewon which just made him cry even more "look at that crybaby!"

What the father failed to notice was Jaehyun crawling and picking up the gun which was placed on his side, Jaehyun stood up and looked at his father.

When the father looked at his son he was worried, he didn't know what to do.

"Please stop! Don't do it!" Screamed Daewon, sobbing his heart out while looking Jaehyun straight in the eyes, this couldn't be happening, he can't lost him, he just cannot stand the feeling of not seeing Jaehyun everyday.

That was the moment where he saw a tear come out of Jaehyun's eye, he smiled "I love you.." was the lost words he said before the pressed the trigger.

A loud bang was heard through out the room, Daewon let out a loud scream as he pushed his father away with all of the might he had and ran towards his now not breathing lover, while he ran he didn't notice that he accidentally cut his red ribbon which was tied around his wrist. He can't accept, it's not real, this is just a dream!

He didn't hear anything as he stared at the lifeless body on the floor, he didn't hear his fathers screaming as he picked up the gun, he didn't feel the tears as he placed the gun beside his head.

"I love you." Was the last word which he said when he pulled the trigger.

His lifeless body fell on top of his lovers as his red ribbon fell on both of their wrists, connecting them forever.
