Tainted Memories

Ric Lucris was a man who smiled at the world not because the world was a happy place but to hide the turmoil inside him. He had lost both his parents at the tender age of 13 and was forced to live with his uncle. Little did he know that his Uncle was a drug addict, alcoholic and the worst of all a pedophile. Abused daily and tortured Ric had to conjure courage each day to will himself to live just another day. Life didn't become easier when school was another hell in disguise. With the disgusted stares he got from his peers and the constant bullying Ric had to bear with all the pain hoping that college would help him escape. But life had other plans when his Uncle forced him to go to community college and ordered him to stay at home with threats to destroy his life.

Enough was enough and when Ric finally managed to complete his college with flying colors and a degree in the business world he decided to flee.

Upon reaching a whole new country and whole new society he is lost and clueless of what to do. Life throws another curve ball and he meets a man who promises to help him. Little did he know that this man would defile him tear apart his heart to leave him behind with tainted memories.

 To escape his past and to find peace within himself he decides to flee again.
Starting afresh in another country with a whole new life in low-key he soon finds himself  falling in love with a man who seems to genuinely care for him.

Will Ric be able to move on from his tainted memories with the love of his life or will the tainted memories taint his whole life?
