I sat outside with Kenny while he smoked.

"Why do you smoke?" I looked over at him.

He lifted a brow. "Why don't you smoke?"

"Because it can do damage to your lungs." I told him.

He rolled his eyes and looked ahead while sucking on his cigarette. "Nothing happened to me." He said while blowing out air.

I smelt it and made a gross face. "I don't get how you can smoke that."

He smiled. "Try it." He handed it to me.

I stared at it and blinked quickly.

I took the cigarette from him and held it between my two fingers.

I press the cigarette against my lips and took a drag from it.

I nearly dropped the cigarette and coughed.

I coughed really hard and tried to catch my breath.

Kenny took the cigarette from my fingers and dropped it to the ground.

It felt like I was choking on smoke.

"Oh..... hamburgers!" I continued coughing and gasping for air.

Kenny pat my back.

"Leo, you okay?"

I quickly took a drink of water and coughed a bit more.

"Sorry.." I finally answered.

"Hey..no worries! I'm just glad you're okay." Kenny smiled and pat my knee.

"Hey.. so um. A friend of mine is throwing a party this weekend? You wanna come along?" Kenny looked at me.

"That's awesome. I'll meet at your house at 6 then." Kenny started to stand up.

"Wait! If my parents found out, they'd kill me. We'll have to be like really sneaky." I told him and sighed.

"Oh Leo, you are one naughty boy. We'll definitely be very sneaky. I'll cya later" He smiled then got up and left.
