What are We?

You went to the lair and to your surprise, Leo was there. What a surprise 

Act normal... 

"Hey Leo" he turned around and smiled

"Hey Princess" he gave you a smug look. You rolled your eyes and punched him playfully at the plastron

"What's with the hat?" he pointed at the beanie you were wearing. You gulped 

"Well... I cut my hair" you smiled nervously. Leo raised a brow and you slowly removed the beanie from your head.

"Y/N... you" you sighed and put the beanie back on. You were about to leave when grabbed your wrist

"Y/N you look beautiful" you blushed at his statement. He held you by your shoulders and slowly took your beanie off

"Who would've known that short hair was good on you" he cupped your cheek as he approached closer to your face. You were interrupted when Mikey suddenly dragged you to the dojo 

"Dudette! is that you?! you look awesome with short hair!" he cheered and you just chuckled. Raph and April entered the room. 

"Is this your new friend Mikey?" Raph throwing some shade. You turned to Raph and he gasped 

"It's Y/N! 2.0!" Mikey exaggerated. April's eyes widened and Raph poked your cheek 

"Does Y/N have another brother or?" You chuckled 

"Raph it's just me Y/N" Raph blinked twice trying to process everything. Leo entered the dojo followed by Donnie. 

"What's going on here?" Splinter entered the dojo. 

... 

You and April watched the boys train since you both will train together. You watched Leo as he swiftly drew his katana at the brothers. Mikey and Donnie were out so it's basically Raph and Leo. again... 

Raph is aggressive when it comes to fighting while Leo is quick and calm. Just before Leo could take Raph out he flashed a wink and did a leg sweep making Raph fall on the floor groaning

"Yame!" Leo and Raph sat on their knees along with their younger brothers.

You and April have been sparring with each other using weapons. April used her signature weapon the: tessen while you tried your best to master the ninja-to. The turtles were watching you both spar

April's tessen went flying around the dojo making you jump from your place. The tessen was flying towards you at high speed making you widen your eyes. You breathed deeply and caught the tessen with your hand at the wrong spot. You didn't move but blood was starting to drip on the floor 

"Yame!" the turtles including April ran to you. 

"You know that the tessen was sharp" you were brought to the lab by Donnie. The cut was deep so Donnie gave you stitches and wrapped your arms with the bandage 

"Does it hurt?" you shook your head. Leo was watching from a distance 

"Kind of but I'm good" you smiled. Donnie nodded and went out of the lab. Leo approached you 

"I gotta say, I'm impressed at your skill" 

"Heh, thanks" he sat next to you and scooted closer to you. 

Silence filled the lab. The tension in the air was so thick you can cut it with a knife. You looked at Leo who was tapping his knee pads while whistling 

"Hey Leo..." 

"Yes Princess?" 

"What are we?" Leo paused for a while 

He didn't know the answer to that question. Yes, he likes you but he likes Karai too

What is he supposed to say?

"I don't know Y/N" you sighed 

You knew it

"Is it because of Karai?" he looked turned to you with wide eyes. You stood up from your seat and left the lab. Leo ran after you 

"Y/N wait!" you ignored him and ran out of the lair. You tried to hold back your tears. You turned back to see Leo gaining on you. 

"Y/N! please! wait!" you ran faster but it was no use, he was a ninja and of course he caught up on you. He grabbed you by your wrist making you fall back to his plastron 

He held you by your shoulders making you look at him. You tried to avoid his gaze but his finger lifted your chin

"Y/N look at me" you shifted your head. 

"Y/N look at me!" 

"No!" you pushed him away but he took hold of you. You slammed your hand at his plastron trying to escape but he held you close his arms wrapped securely around you. 

"Let go" you said sternly 

"Let go!" 

"No!" you tried to resist but he held you securely 

"No Y/N! I can't let you go!" his grip tightened as you froze. He buried his head on your neck as your eyes became watery

"No Y/N... no" he pulled away to look at you. You looked behind him and saw a syringe incoming. 

"Leo look out!" you pushed him as hard as you can, making him fall to the ground and the syringe hit you. You lost your consciousness as you fell to the ground 

Little did you know that the Leo you were with was a shapeshifter that was working under the foot 

How?

The shapeshifter pulled out his phone to contact Karai 

"It's done, now get me my reward"

"You'll get your reward once you bring her back to the lab"

"If so, then I'll be right there" 

The shapeshifter looked at your unconscious body and smirked. He carried you to the lab with nothing in his way 

Where is the real Leo?...

What do you think is Karai plotting?...
