jisung was taken aback, but he was quick to say, "yes! of course, as long as you feel comfortable telling me."

"i am."

minho took a deep breath in, calming his nerves.

"last year, there was a bombing during one of my group's shows. only one member and i managed to get out, at least, from our group. even so, only i got out unscathed. most of the audience was unharmed, but still... i don't want to dance again."

"who was the other member who got out?"

minho bit his lower lip, thinking of how he'd lost contact with the one person whose pain related as deeply to minho's, if not more. the dancer who, even if he wanted to, would not be able to dance ever again. "bang chan. he's just a little older than i am, but—"

"have you spoken to him since the incident?" jisung interrupted. he took the silence as confirmation that minho had not, in fact, spoken with chan. "try connecting with him. if not for yourself, then for me. i'll try to see if i can find anyone who may have died in that bombing; maybe you can trade messages with them one last time."

minho softly smiled, tracing the veins on one of his hands. "maybe i can."
