017 | Your Eyes, They Never Lie

Taeyeon the pointed behind them, and Taehyung couldn't help but look. There, near a restaurant, he saw Jennie carrying Kuma in her arms, whilst talking to Jungkook.

Freaking Jeon Jungkook?!

"Yeonie," Taehyung grouched.

"Yes, oppa?"

"You're wearing your seatbelt, right?"

"Mhm, why--?"

Just then, Taehyung quickly made a u-turn and drove back, just to go to the two.

Right now, Taehyung's buying some food for him, Taeyeon, and Jennie. You see, he just pulled up and called the two without having a proper reason to interrupt. Good thing Taeyeon was there and told Jennie that she misses her.

Being the soft-hearted person Jennie is to Taeyeon, she agreed to come and eat with them. Meanwhile, Jungkook just said that he has other plans, and that him and Jennie should meet up some other time. Which of course, bothered Taehyung.

The truth was, Jennie and Jungkook met by coincidence, bumping into each other and eventually having small talk. Just when they were already going to part ways, the great Kim Taehyung along with his little sister crashed in, much to Jungkook's glee that is.

Oh, this is going to be exciting, Jungkook thought. And before him and Jennie parted ways, he decided to pull a little stunt and give her a light embrace before he walked away.

Jennie, knowing what's in Jeon Jungkook's mind, decided to play along.

Once Taehyung came back with their order number, his brows knitted together upon seeing Taeyeon sitting besides Jennie. But of course, he thought. Originally, her bias was Jisoo. However, he can clearly see that her Jennie unnie's bias wrecking her so bad.

And so, Taehyung decided to sit at the seat across the two. Jennie didn't necessarily notice him, though. Her full attention was drawn by Taeyeon, Yeontan, and Kuma. The two dogs seemed to get along, too.

"By the way unnie, was that your boyfriend?" Taeyeon couldn't help but ask.

Jennie's brows knitted together, tilting her head a bit.  "Who? Jungkook?"

"That's why I thought he's familiar! He's a part of BTS, too! Like Tae oppa," Taeyeon pointed at Taehyung, causing Jennie to glance upon the male for a brief second.

Jennie nodded, ruffling Taeyeon's hair.

Just after that, Taeyeon threw another question at her. "Unnie, why are you wearing a wig?"

Taehyung stopped, about to scold Taeyeon for saying such a thing. However, when he dawned his eyes over Jennie, he couldn't help but agree with his little sister. Jennie is definitely wearing a wig underneath that cap of hers.

And so, Taehyung refrained himself from scolding Taeyeon and decided to listen instead.

Jennie giggled at Taeyeon. "You're very observant. It's just that we're going to have a comeback really soon, and I dyed my hair colour."

"Died . . . like, to pass away?" Taeyeon asked innocently.

Jennie shook her head, patiently answering all her questions for she believed that the curious ones are the ones eager to learn. "No, d-y-e-d, like, to change your hair colour."

"Oppa changes his hair colour too!" Taeyeon chimed. "He changes it too often, mom always tells him that he's gonna grow bald soon."

Taehyung and Jennie chuckled at the same time because of Taeyeon's charm and innocence. "Me? How about your Yoongi oppa, doesn't he change it more often?"
