This day has been kinda bittersweet since that text. I held it together for my family's sake. Ordered my mother's favorite food and made her favorite dessert. Watched a movie together. Let her kick back and enjoy her day.
Now I'm here. Alone. Lost in my thoughts. And the waves of emotions are hitting me. Every word my sister and my cousin told me during my thought process is ringing in my ears.
