The very next day, Viv woke up with a start, feeling a rush of energy fill her body. She couldn't help but feel a sense of joy. Today, was her first court case that she would be attending. After gathering up testimonies and evidence, the Ann H. case was ready to be presented to the judge.

Ms. Autry quickly got ready for the day, taking a shower, changing her clothes, eating breakfast, and out the door she went. She fixed her outfit, this time sporting a white blouse with a bow in the front and similar black pants that cuffed her body right.

Autry fixed the last pieces of her makeup, touched up her hair, and was off to court at 11:00 a.m.

Of course, Vivienne didn't have to attend. It wasn't her duty after all. But she had the day off and was excited to see how a real judicial system worked in person. It took her about 30 minutes to get to the courtroom, and yet it felt like only 5 minutes passed.

Viv rushed in, energy practically glowing off her when she spotted a familiar face near the corner. A cutesy smile reached her lips as she walked up to Mr. Wright who seemed lost in thought.

"Hello Mr. Wright," Vivienne greeted cheerfully.

He jumped, not expecting to be knocked out of his thoughts, "Oh, hey Vivienne."

"Are you perhaps the defense attorney on this case?" She asked, letting her joy seep into Phoenix as he started to cool down from the nervousness.

"Heh, sure am," Phoenix replied, scratching the back of his head. He couldn't help but think how naturally pretty this woman standing before him was. But it wasn't her beauty that really brought out her charisma. It was the fact that she was extremely kind, always cheerful, and frankly, rather flirty. She had a certain charm to her, an exciting aura if you must, and it made her desirable.

"Hey Phoenix!" A voice called out from behind the two lost in conversation. Vivienne turned around, only to be greeted with a petite figure wearing a strange looking outfit that looked like belonged in a costume shop. Despite this, Viv couldn't help but greet the girl, taking notice of how adorable she looked in that outfit.

Maya Fey spotted her attorney, Phoenix, speaking with a lady, so she decided to go interupt the fun. But once she saw her, Maya was stuck in her trance. She was beautiful. "Psst, Phoenix is this your girlfriend," Maya leaned over towards Phoenix, whispering not so quietly right in front of Vivienne.

Phoenix turned as bright red as any person could possibly be, "What? Maya, no."

Maya couldn't help but huff at the comment, hoping that her opinion on Phoenix being alone for the rest of his life would change, "Aw man, why not? She's pretty!"

Vivienne couldn't help but to love the young girls attitude. It reminded her of her younger sister who was living back at home. "Hello, my name is Vivienne Autry. And you are?"

Maya stared at the girl, cocking her head to the side as the words echoed at her lips. Maya had never heard someone speak in such a proper tone, not even Mr. Edgeworth. "My name is Maya Fey!"

Viv felt a sense of dread rush into her chest. She knew very well about the past documents concluding Maya Fey to be the lead suspect of the murder case of Mia Fey, but she recalled that she was proven innocent.

It had never occured to Vivienne that she would ever meet the girl, nonetheless believe she was accused of murder. Her body language read nothing about any bad intent or ill-witted actions. This girl couldn't even hurt a fly if she had to.

"You talk like Mr. Edgeworth," Maya mentioned. And there it was again, that idiotic name that never seemed to let her escape.

"You mentioned me?" Speak of the devil, and he shall appear, Vivienne thought in her head.

Viv turned around, forcing her smile to look genuine when really, she just wanted to walk away.

"Ms. Autry, what are you doing here?"

"Do you forget what my job is Mr. Edgeworth?" Viv huffed, letting out a sign of annoyance, as she recalled yesterday's events. He had no reason to snap at her, much less tell her too shut up in such a rude tone. Ever since the incident in her office, he's turned colder than ever, always responding with hatred.

Maya looked between Ms. Autry who's arms were crossed, staring intently at Mr. Edgeworth, while Edgeworth held his usual cold gaze, his lips pursing at the sight.

A sudden feel of excitement rushed into Maya as she leaned over to whisper to Phoenix, "Psst, Phoenix, are they dating?"

Phoenix noticed the tension, but it wasn't the usual tension of hatred. It was playful anger, something Miles rarely does.

"No. I don't think so," Phoenix whispered back, following Maya's gaze as they looked between the two head on battling.

"Your position doesn't approve your reason to be here," Edgeworth spat.

Vivienne was increasing growing irritated, "I do not need you to justify why I am here."

"You have no use here."

"You have no manners."

Back and forth the two bickered like a bunch of children, cursing non-stop petty insults like it was there job.

"Oh I hope they end up together!"

"Oh I hope they end up together!"
