"You've already found your dress right?"

Ellie nodded and closed her eyes. "Yeah, it was my mom's. Dad said I would look good in it."

Andrew stretched his arms and ruffled her wavy locks playfully.

"You look good in anything."

"Look at my daughter! She looks good in everything!" Dr. Nicholas exclaimed, holding up his phone in tears of joy.

Ellie felt her eye twitch as she clasped her white purse, looking at Andrew with her eyes that screamed, 'help'.

Andrew laughed and stood by the door frame with his suit, a royal black blazer with the collar lined with gold. His pants were pitch black, borrowed from Ellie's dad since every pair of pants Andrew owned was either too small or they were jeans.

But Ellie was the real star of the show. She wore a flared dress that was ruby red, and had spaghetti straps that held the top of the dress until her collar bone. The red silk dress hugged the top part of her body comfortably, and at the bottom sides of the dress was a layered shear red fabric that was different from the silk she wore.

She wore her hair in a braid, decorated by little plastic rubies in her braid. Andrew had his hair gelled and slicked back, making him look like a proper gentleman.

"Dad, I need to go. Julio would here any minute!"

Dr. Nicholas sniffed and took more pictures of her, desperately asking for her to pose.

"One more time honey, just pose one more time." Dr. Nicholas pleaded.

Ellie groaned and stood straight, bringing her braid to rest on her shoulder, placing her hands in front of her with her purse.

A click was heard from the phone as Dr. Nicholas continued bragging on how beautiful his daughter looked in the dress.

Andrew laughed and before you knew it, the doorbell was the bakery was heard.

Ellie widened her eyes.

"He's here."

"Get your man, darling!"

"Get that Spanish ass!"

Ellie rolled her eyes and ignored them and rushed downstairs, carefully trying not to trip over her heels which was 3 inches and had a wide base because she wasn't used to heels just yet.

She cleared her throat and fixed her hair, and opened the door to reveal Julio standing by the door looking more handsome than before.

He wore a simple black tuxedo with no tie, and had a red flower pinned on his breast pocket that matched Ellie's dress. Julio looked really simple with his black blazer, black pants, and white button up, but Ellie felt that he looked astonishing.

And same went for Julio. He felt his face flush as he looked at Ellie in the red flare dress, and Ellie saw that his face looked at red as her dress.

Ellie giggled and felt her face flush red too as she smiled warmly at him.

"Let's go?"

Julio gulped. "Y-Yeah..."

It wasn't really a quiet ride with Ellie in Julio's car, Ellie was busy being herself and Julio was busy being himself with her jokes and his sarcastic demeanor.

They reached the school in matter of minutes and heard the loud booming songs from afar as they exited the car.

Ellie listened closely.
