I stared at him for a minute taking in all his facial features. But there was no way he was alive. How? I could've sworn we buried him along with my mom. So does this mean my mom is alive too?

"Nahla?" Mir called out snapping me out my thoughts

"Is this some sick prank? Because there's no way he's actually my dad" I looked between the both of them.

"I wish it was Nahla but it's not. This bum ass nigga your daddy" Mir sized him up

"Wait hold up you knew he was alive and didn't tell me?" I turn my attention to Mir

"I wanted to baby I swear I did" He said

"Then why didn't you?" I crossed my arms raising my eyebrow

"Because I told him not to. I wanted to tell you in person"My dad spoke up making my attention go to him.

Before I could fix my mouth to say anything else Dre and Tez pulled up hopping out the car along with Frankie and Shooter.

"Yo ass really got a death wish huh?" Dre yelled coming over to us "I told yo ass to stay away from her"

"Wait! Ya'll knew dad was alive? Ya'll fucking knew he was alive and didn't tell me anything?" I raised my voice because at this point they all had me fucked up

"We found out a while ago but this nigga didn't deserve another chance so we ain't tell but don't get us wrong we were gonna tell you lady bug" Tez turned to me

"Tell me when? Because here I am without knowing shit with a man who I thought is suppose to be 6 feet under"

"Aye man It ain't good to be having this discussion out here" Frankie told us giving Dre and Tez a look which made them nod

I shook my head walking past everyone heading inside walking down the hall to my apartment. I unlocked the door walking in not seeing anybody in the living room. I walked into the kitchen throwing my snacks on the table before walking out heading to my room where I found the guys chilling

"What ya'll doing in here?" I asked as I took my hoodie off throwing it on the chair I had in here.

"We heard all the arguing so we figured ya'll was gonna want the living room free to argue" Wooski said "You good?"

"I'm ight. Did ya'll know he was alive?" I asked them but they all shook their heads

"Nah I ain't know none about that Lala swear"Blast said putting his arms up

"Yeah nah we got none to do with whatever they got going on" Wooski shook his head

"Nahla I can explain" Mir walking into the room grabbing me turning my body so I could face it

"Well you better get to explaining cause I'm so close to knocking yo head off yo shoulders" I warned him

I was hurt because he's suppose to be my best friend and boyfriend and he kept the biggest secret from me. He knew my dad was alive and instead of telling me he let me cry my eyes out praying for my parents to come back to live whole time My dad was around.

"I saw him a few months back when I dropped Leia off. I wanted to tell you but I didn't know how so I came to your brothers for advice. They told me they were gonna handle everything but not to say anything to you. I never wanted you to find out this way or to hurt. I'm sorry for real. Don't be mad at me. I ain't know how to tell you" He explained
