“My therapist asked me “Could the human race survive without emotions?”. Right away, I thought about how much easier life would be if I did not feel the heart wrenching feelings, I feel now. However, I knew that was not the answer. I spoke up a few minutes little saying “How could someone survive without emotions? The passion, the love, the joy. Yes, I feel sad, and lonely most of the time, but it is all worthwhile, once I see the laughing faces of my friends or the look of someone talking about their passions. How would the human race survive with the feeling of love. Loving your spouse, friends, parents, children. The human race could never survive without connections. Connections to humans, activities, or animals.”
