""Bakit mo ba kasi naisip yan?"
"Bakit pala tayo nagbubulungan?"

"Bakit ka nabubulol?"
"Kasi hindi ko alam kung sino ang mga nakamasid sa atin ngayon. Since naumpisahan na natin to, we might as well play the drama properly."
"Ok. How do we do it?"
"We can kiss for starters? Hahaha"
"Ano ka? Ang dami mo nang halik sa akin huh!"

He pulled me closer to where he is seated. He tilted my chin so I would be looking at her straight in the eye. Alam mo yun? yung too close that I could see the other colors in his eyes. I could smell his minty breath. Kunti na lang mahahalikan na niya ako.
"I need you. So please say yes to what I am asking you."
When I tried to pull away, he held me where I was.
"I am going to kiss you right now and do not pull away. I want to kiss you because it is what my gutt feel is saying."
And he leaned towards me and kissed me. I could hear the silence in the restaurant especially where our men are seated. And he pulled away. i know I might have looked dumb because my eyes were still closed until he whispered
"You may open your eyes now."

She naturally hated the idea. She wanted to know the reason why but I am not in a position to tell her about it. Malalaman din iya pag uwi niya sa bahay ng tatay niya, mamaya or bukas. Nalaman ko ang balita thru Migo. Sinabi niya sa akin kasi ang girlfriend niya is the secretary of the Senator. Walang nakakaalam na girlfriend ni Migo yun kasi bawal nga daw. But they love each other so, sila pa din.
Ayaw niya magpakasal sa akin. Kung sumagot lang sana siya, isusuot ko na sa kanya ang binili kong singsing kanina din umaga. Hindi masyadong mahal, pero million din ang bayad niya. The ring is burning a hole in my pocket now. Gustong gusto kong isuot niya. To save her actually.
"Sir? May emergency meeting daw kayo sir. Tumawag si Laynie, may emergency call daw ang party president."
"Okay sige. Are you don eating?"
"Yeah."
"Then ihatid ka muna namin."
"Huwag na. Malayo pa. May kasama naman ako. At nandiyan naman sasakyan ko.Kami na lang. Ingat ka."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, don't worry."
"Okay, sige. Thank you."
"Thank you for the dinner."
Inihatid ko sa sasakyan niya. Before she got in she turned to me and she wrapped her hands around me. I hugged her back. Before naghiwalay, she kissed me. I kissed back.
I waited until her car disappeared from the bend before I got in the car. I was quiet the whole ride to the party headquarters.
Will she say yes to me pag nalaman na niya ang plano ng tatay niya?
Sana she will come to her senses at he will accept my invitation to marry her. Wala na akong alam pang paraan para matulungan siya this time. Damn politics!
"Sir, okay lang po kayo?"
'"HUH?"
"Sir, kung okay lang kayo?"
"Huh. Okay lang ako. May iniisip lang ako."
"Ah okay sir."
"Nandito sa meeting din ba ang tatay ko?"
"Oo sir nandiyan din po siya."
"Bakit kaya sa pakiramdam ko eh may masamang mangyayari sa gabing ito?"
"Sir, balita ko po...ayaw ng mga magulang niyo ang relasyon niyo ni Congresswoman po."
"Alam namin yun."
"Pero sir, sa balita, paghihiwalayin daw kayo. Kung hindi daw nila kayo masisira. isa sa inyo angmatatanggal sa pwesto. Kaya ang papa niyo sir, nandiyan para hindi kayo ang maiiskandalo."
"Anong iskandalo?"
"Na may babae kang iba or si Congresswoman may ibang lalaki."
"Sino ang gagawa nun?"
"Magkabilaang partido sir."
"Ganun kasama>"
""Yes sir."
"Di bale mahal naman namin isa't sa. Walang makakasira ng relasyon namin."
"Yes Sir.San Sir."
