In the 17 years of my existence, love is the only thing I can't really explain. What is love really? I don't know. They said its something that bind a family, keep you and your loved one strong etc. What can I say? I don't even feel it in the former. Family? Well, I'm always chasing them. Stolen moments were the only time they can offer me. I'm at their front but I'm always jilted.

"Sorry honey, not now, I'm busy", "Wait sweetie, I just have some papers to finished".

They can't even waste a second to prepare me a milk. I don't remember them coming into my room to check if I was asleep or what am I doing. I may not be alone, but I'm lonely.

Because of being used in being a solo flight, I started to disregard them like how they are ignoring me. When the time comes and they're both free and planned a trip for us, I have now the power to declined their proposal. I learn to make excuses and alibi myself. As much as I wanted to accept those, I restraint myself from feeling again the attention-seeker and weak Xenia.

Disappointment. That's how I see myself. My life's been a full mess in the years I've lived on. School is my world and bullying is my thing. Before, I was the one being pushed until my back hit the wall. Now, I was the one dumping them onto the trash and mirroring the things they did to me.

Teachers now getting me wrong, thought I was beast here. I can't blame them though, I'm involved to all of the big riots within our school. My mother's called off every month because of my disciplinary action. I don't care at all. If they wanted to eject me being their daughter, hell, who would care? If their jaded of me, bringing their surname, their 'known' and 'popular' identities, they can change mine without an ease. Because me? I'm tired of being their daughter.

They have the time to scold me, to shout at me when I do stupid things like these. But can't even notice me crying every night, worrying about how my life would go. I'm their shadow, following them wherever they go, but also as a shadow, people don't give a little glance at the, because they're nothing but a part of them.

I'm Xenia, and I will always be me. I will no more go back being the partisan, because I'm now a leader on my own.
