I sigh deeply, I can't believe I'm actually getting sent to a Christian school. It started with me coming out to them as gay. They seemed to be okay with me having gay friends, so I thought they'd be okay with me being gay. But as soon as I told them they started blaming my friends. And telling me I couldn't see them anymore. Luckily I have their numbers memorized.

"We're here!" My mother says in her loud voice. I could hear the hate in her tone.

Ever since I told her she completely flipped out. Telling me she will not have a gay son living in her house.

My father in the other hand was much more accepting he told me it was okay for me to be gay and I had nothing to be ashamed of. Him and mom fought a lot that night.

I grabbed my suitcase out of the back of the rental car. We had to take a plane here. My mother said it was the one of the best Christian schools around. So of course she had to send me thousands of miles away from our hometown. I don't even know where we are.

"Hurry up you fag!" My mother yells at me, grabbing my arm roughly. I see my father sigh in disapproval out of the corner of my eye.

Once we get to the front of the huge looking school. I notice a balding old man standing with his arms crossed.

"Welcome." He says in a gruff tone. His voice alone was enough to make me cringe.

My mother finally lets go of her bruising grip, only to push me slightly toward the man. I notice my father staying silently by the car.

"I'll get someone to show you around." The man says bluntly. "Also, you'll be in room 148. Your roommates' names are Cole, Jackson, and Tobias."

I nod my head silently, hopefully my roommates aren't uptight Christians.
