Y/N sobbed quietly. Their lover Asra had been gone for months. They didn't know if he'd come back. They had gotten into a fight just before Asra left. Y/N forced away their sobs for their voice. It didn't come out as talking, it was a song,

I'm searching for something that I can't reach

They looked at their hands and forced themselves off their knees,

I don't like them innocent

I don't want no face fresh

Want them wearing leather

Begging, let me be your taste test

They hissed as they turned around and ripped off the pendant they had received from Asra. Their voice was silenced momentarily from the sound of the jewelry hitting the ground with a soft clank.

I like the sad eyes, bad guys

Mouth full of white lies

Kiss me in the corridor

But quick to tell me goodbye

They traced their own lips, they hadn't felt his kiss in so long. He kept pushing them away, but why?

You say that you're no good for me

They sang, anger flowing through their voice as they stormed through the house, coming to their shared bedroom

'Cause I'm always tugging at your sleeve

And I swear I hate you when you leave

I like it anyway

They sobbed as they teared Asra's soft clothes and fabrics from the drawers and closet and throwing them into a pile.

My ghost

Where'd you go?

I can't find you in the body sleeping next to me

Y/N fell to their knees a sob flowing through them as they held a soft scarf of Asra's, one he used to wear all the time.

My ghost

Where'd you go?

What happened to the soul you used to be?

They couldn't recognize Asra when he stormed through their room, his eyes falling onto the sobbing figure at the center of the room, in his hand, the small pendant dangled from his fist, Faust slipped off his neck and onto the floor, before slithering away from the commotion.

I'm off the deep end, sleeping

All night through the weekend

Saying that I love him but

I know I'm gonna leave him

They looked at their lover, eyes filled with anger and sadness, they continued their melody as the stood slowly and approached Asra.

You say that you're no good for me

'Cause I'm always tugging at your sleeve

And I swear I hate you when you leave

I like it anyway

They looked up at him and pointed a finger at his chest while sing-shouting the next part,

My ghost

Where'd you go?

I can't find you in the body sleeping next to me

Y/N's expression broke, their face contorting into a broken sob as they whimpered out the song,

My ghost

Where'd you go?

What happened to the soul that you used to be

They walked up to him and gripped the fabrics that hung off of his body, their voice light as a soft sob escaped them, their eyes looked into Asra's,

I'm searching for something that I can't reach

My ghost

Where'd you go?

I can't find you in the body sleeping next to me

My ghost

Where'd you go?

What happened to the soul that you used to be...

Asra pulled Y/N in and apologized multiple times and pulled away to look at them.

"I am never leaving you again. That's my promise. If I leave you come with me." Y/N sobbed into Asra's chest, his warm embrace, something so foreign yet so familiar. They cried until there was nothing to cry about, all before leaning up and kissing Asra lightly, a whisper falling from their mouth,

"My ghost."
