Like a dream

Amelia... Amelia...

It was a rainy normal day in Seattle, Amelia woke up. But today something was different. It wasn't actually like any other day.

Amelia's POV:
All I can think about is how easygoing things with Link are. No feelings... just sex, hours of laughing, and talking. It's perfect and I'm happy. It's been 3 months since I'm having encounters with him. Only Maggie, Meredith and Jo knew, but then Owen found out and I think it's better this way.
Link's POV:
Amelia is great, she's funny, beautiful. And a really good kisser, we have had been doing it from 3 months. I'm happy the way things are going. But, is it time to the next step? Should we start a relationship? Is she going to freak out or is it to fast? I don't know. I should talk to her, but I don't want to scare her.
Like any other day, Amelia and Mer were at the kitchen with the kids, the children were eating while they were talking.
Amelia: Where is Maggie?
Meredith: She has an early shift. Do you want a cup of coffee?
Amelia: No I'm not in a mood for coffee.
Meredith: How come? You love coffee.
Amelia: I don't know why but thinking about coffee make me wanna puke. Maybe us just the flu. I'll eat a piece of pepperoni tho.
Meredith: well that's new I thought you hate pepperoni. - okay kids, let's get ready kids.
AT THE HOSPITAL:
Amelia: Hey Maggie! (She looked pale and she seemed dizzy)
Maggie: Hey Amelia. What's wrong with you? Are you okay? (In a concerned tone)
Amelia: yes I'm fine I just have nausea and the flu.
Maggie: You are sure you are up to work? You can spread it all over the hospital. You should go home.
Amelia: You are probably right. I'm going home.
*Link went to the room where Amelia and Maggie are*
Amelia: Hey stranger!
Link: (kissed her on the cheek) hey how are you? You don't look good at all!
Amelia: Well thank you. (Snarky tone)
Maggie: (laughs)well I got paged. I hope you feel better I'll cook for you when I get home. (Leaves the room)
Amelia: I was actually heading home... I don't feel good.
Link: What's wrong? Are you sick?
Amelia: Yes I have nausea.
Link: well maybe you're pregnant ( chuckles)
Amelia: hahah no way! You're crazy
Link: do you want me to go home with you?
Amelia: No it's okay. See you tomorrow if I get better
Link: I'll go visit you soon.
They kissed, even though Amelia told him she didn't want him to get sick.

Amelia's POV:
Links crazy. How come is impossible for me to get pregnant, I'm really careful in those aspects. But wait, what day is today? Is September 28th, I'm late... 7 days late. Omg, no no Amelia don't panic. You are just thinking about what Link said and ha! That's impossible. But wait, I was craving pepperoni. Well no no, people change their mind about food, is just the flu!
At the hospital: Meredith is in the plant room doing some research. But she gets interrupted by Maggie.
Maggie: hey what's up! What are you doing?
Meredith: I was just finishing some research. And you?
Maggie: I'm worried about Amelia. She was nauseous and dizzy and she looked pale.
Meredith: Yes. And in the morning she rejected coffee and wanted pepperoni, she hates pepperoni!
Maggie: OMG OMG! I know what's wrong with her. She doesn't have the flu. SHE'S PREGNANT.
Meredith: (raises an eyebrow) what? You think so?
Maggie: I mean she has been craving pepperoni, rejecting coffee. And if you pay attention her breast has been changing for a while I mean she's not in the shape she has always been.
Meredith: well, you are right, omg how would Amelia react.
Maggie: she thinks is just the flu... but I'm going to get a pregnancy test before I head home.
Meredith: let me know when you head home. I'll go with you.
Hours later:
Maggie and Meredith are heading home and Meredith asked Maggie if she got the pregnancy test. She said yes. At the house they find Amelia in her room, under the sheets sleeping.
Meredith: Hey Amelia, how u feeling?
Amelia: I'm better, way better than before. But I still feel nauseous.
Meredith and Maggie look at each other.
Amelia: what?! What's wrong!
Maggie: Amelia. We don't think you have the flu. We think you are pregnant.
Amelia: HAHAH what?! No way I mean I'm late but I don't think so.
Meredith: you are late? What? Two three days?
Amelia: A week.
Maggie: Amelia you should pee on a stick. Just in case.
Meredith: Maggie is right, is better if we discard the fact of you been pregnant.
She peed on a stick and minutes later:
NO way. How Am I going to tell Link (she stars crying)
Meredith to Maggie: well I think the hormones took over her body.
Maggie: is okay Amelia everything is going to be okay
Meredith: calm down Amelia. I know this isn't what you planned but is for the best.
While they were talking and talking it felt like If Amelia was in another universe so they start saying: Amelia... Amelia...
