Once Lisa turned around, I grabbed onto Hayden's hand and practically dragged him out of that depressing place, which most people called a hospital.

"Where are we going?" Hayden questioned, and I shrugged my shoulders. "You realize that I drove us here, right?"

"Yeah, yeah I know." I rolled my eyes jokingly and reached out my hand for Hayden's keys. "Do you trust me?" I questioned.

Hayden slowly placed the keys into my hand. "Of course I do." He promised as he placed kisses onto my face that trailed down onto my neck.

Eventually, I pushed Hayden off of me and climbed into the driver seat. "Trust me, once we get there I will officially become the best girlfriend that you've ever had." I laughed, as I started the car. "Just hang in there."

"Easy, you're already the best girlfriend that I've ever had." Hayden suddenly said in a serious tone, and my eyes widened at the sudden mood shift. "I've never been so serious about anyone but you. Remember, I've had my eye on you since we were kids. I was just too stupid not to do anything about it."

"Hayden, it's okay. We've been over this. You don't have to feel guilty about anything that you did when we were kids." I smiled softly, glancing over at him for a second. "Our brains weren't even fully developed."

Hayden laughed lightly, and the sound of his laughter put me at peace. "No, I'll never forgive myself for listening to Luna."

My heart sunk at the thought of Luna.

I haven't seen her in a few weeks, and I didn't know if it was horrible to admit that I missed her a lot. Despite everything that she did, I missed when we were babies and she wasn't sick.

She was once just my older sister, who I loved and looked up too.

"Hey," Hayden suddenly spoke, as he placed his hand onto my knee, "I'm sorry for bringing up Luna."

"It's okay," I quickly mumbled, "I just haven't thought about what happened in a while."

"You don't have to think about it right now if you don't want too," Hayden reassured me and I nodded my head. "I still want to know where we're going though."

I rolled my eyes, "We're almost there if you must know." A quiet laugh left my lips. "I never realized how impatient you are."

"I am not." Hayden laughed, and I glanced over at him. "Okay, maybe I am."

A few minutes later, Hayden began to realize where exactly I was taking him.

"You took us to me and my grandmother's favourite burger place?" Hayden said in awe, as he got out of his car and I did the same.

"Yes!" I nodded my head as I practically ran to the other side of the car. "I remember when you took me here for the first time, and it was so special. It seemed like you and your grandmother have so many good memories here, and I know that she's going through a rough time right now with her cancer and everything, so I wanted to cheer you up a bit."

I had the biggest smile on my face. So big that I started to feel my cheeks become sore, but Hayden, on the other hand, stood in front of me speechless.

"How much do you love me now?" I giggled.

At first, I thought that he wasn't talking because he was blown away by my sweet gesture, but then I looked up and an emotion that I couldn't determine washed over his face and I began to panic.

"Did I take things too far?" I quickly scrambled, pushing my hair behind my ears. "I'm sorry Hayden—"

"I love you, Khloe."
