Chapter 1

"America!" I hear a voice exclaim, looking over to see New Zealand running up to me, relief washing over his face. "You're ok!" He said with a smile, I adjusted my crutches so I could hug New Zealand as he came close.

"Of course I am." I say with a soft smile.

"Where is everyone else?" New Zealand questioned as he pulled away. I moved to the side slightly, revealing Canada, Australia, and Britain. New Zealand had tears in his eyes as he ran forward, wrapping his arms around each one of them. "I'm glad you guys are alright!" New Zealand exclaimed with a bright smile.

I couldn't help but frown, looking down towards the ground as my mind wandered. Did she even reach this world? Is she even still alive?

I feel a hand being placed on my shoulder, I look over seeing Canada by my side, "She's here somewhere." Canada spoke with a determined look. "We will find her. For now we need to rest up and gather our thoughts."

"I can't exactly rest knowing she might be at death's door." I scoffed, shrugging his hand off my shoulder. "She should've been the one to walk through first." I mumbled, while walking, or really limbing, away.

Canada looked after me in sadness, before looking back at his younger brothers and Britain. I made my way towards my seat in the large circular conference-like room, sitting down while I placed my crutches down on the ground.

"You should be with your brothers." I hear Russia state walking over to stand next to me.

"I can say the same with you." I retorted, placing my elbow on the desk and my head in my hands.

"You know my family, the only two people who care about me at the moment is Belarus and Kazakhstan." Russia said with a bitter tone as he sat down next to me.

"Ukraine cares too, he just doesn't want to admit it." I say, before realizing he was sitting next to me. I look over in surprise, raising a brow, "What are you doing?"

"We are two of the most powerful countries in the world, America. If we both mention her, most of the countries will listen than just you mentioning her. Might as well sit together for the time being till we find her." Russia stated, leaning back in his chair, crossing his arms.

"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" I look over at him with a surprised look on my face.

Russia rolled his eyes, "What are you talking about?"

"Oh c'mon, just say it." I say with a smug grin.

"Now I am immediately regretting this decision." Russia stated with a shake of his head.

"It won't be a thing till you say it." I say, leaning back in the chair as I place my feet on the table.

Russia groaned, "Fine ... for now until she is found. Let's have an alliance."

I smirked, holding out my hand, "I'm up for that." He took my hand and gave it a single shake before retracting his hand, rubbing it on his shirt as he did so.

"Alright everyone sit down!" UN shouted, catching everyone's attention, causing them to sit down in their designated seats. I placed my feet off the desk quickly, sitting up in my seat. UN adjusted the papers in his hands before continuing, "Now, I know we are all excited for the return of our fellow countries that ended up in another world. But we must get down to business."

"Actually UN, Russia and I like to say something." I say interrupting UN, causing him to look over at the two of us in surprise.

"Ok? What is it?" UN questioned, seeming slightly afraid yet curious.
