Meeting

Clark's POV

J'honn beams us to the Watchtower. When he sees Percy he does a double take "Who is the little one." he says examining. She smiles brightly up at him and he grins back at her, "She's my daughter, Percy." I place her down, she gives his leg a hug and we smile at her. "Who is the mother?" he says picking her up. I nod "I'll tell everyone at the meeting." Suddenly Bruce comes in. He looks at Percy then to us, "Whose this." he says with his 'I'm Batman' voice. I look back at him challengingly "This is my daughter Percy." He looks shocked then recovers. It's a first time for everything. She's my best kept secret, I'm not ashamed of her, I want the whole world to know she's my kid. But if she knows who I am then her life will be in more danger than before. He walks up to Percy and takes her from J'honn she smiles at him and pulls on one of his 'bat' ears. He grins back at her slightly. 

We walk into the meeting room, where the rest of the league sit. He hands Percy to mem his 'I'm batman demeanor back' Everyone looks at us, first me then Percy. She waves at Diana who looks at her closely. Flash speeds up to us, "Whose this cutie?" he says tickling Percy. She giggles, and I say "This is my daughter Percy." he stops and looks at me in shock. Everyone does except J'honn and Bruce who just smirked lightly. He looks at me "How is that possible?!" Diana looks at me questioningly "Whose the mother?" Everyone looks dumbfounded. Arthur  however looks like he knows something. I smirk at their faces then explain "I adopted Percy when I was 18. Her aunt dropped her off at my house when I was 16, her parents had died in a fire. So after some talking with my parents we decided that when I was old enough I would adopt her." Before I could continue Percy speaks up. "Daddy where are we?" I look down at her and set her on the table then I turn her to the team "Percy you remember when I said I wanted you to meet my friends? These are my friends." she smiles at them brightly and waves her hand. Flash speeds up next to her. "Hi." he says, she grins at him "Hi, your fast. What's your name?". He smiles back at her, "Flash." She laugh and shakes her head at him, her thick head of waves swishing "No silly your real name!" Barry looks at her "Uh........." Ollie laughs "Ha, Flash is left speechless. I like this kid." Percy grins and laughs. I set her down and she walks over to them "Hi I'm Percy what are your names." everyone gives her their civilian names and superhero names. Diana walks up to me "I know who she is." I look at her in confusion. "What do you mean?" She gives me the seriously look. "I know a daughter of Poseidon anywhere." I look up and see everyone playing with Percy. I call Arthur and we step to the side.

"You guys both know we cannot tell Percy about this till she finds out herself?" They nod and Arthur and Diana offer to help train her in the ways for her ancestors. Arthur offers to teach of the ocean, and Diana in the ways of the Amazons. I exhale a sigh of relieve "Thank you this means the world to me, you both probably given her a better chance at survival. I'm just so worried that somethings going to take her away from me." I actually start crying and Diana gives me a hug "Clark, we would do anything to help you or your family I hope you know that." I nod and give her my thanks. I wipe my tears away and walk out.  When we walk out I see Percy sitting on top of Flashes shoulders as they both laugh at the dog pile of superheros, around them. "Ummm. Guys what happened here?" Percy turns to me looking innocent "What do you mean?" Diana cracks up behind me. I nod "Sure." After the meeting ends I have a mind link with everyone and tell them about Percy's true parentage. Surprisingly take it well, I think it helps that we all know Diana. But when I see them playing with her I know that her family just got a whole lot bigger than before. And that these people would do anything to keep her safe.
