The elLan slowly takes my hands into hers. Held between us.

"It is time. Successful crossings have already started."

A team of Lans blinks around us. In less than a shudder, I am off the space ship standing some place with a surreal vastness.

An unnatural place that does not echo.

A fair walk ahead of us there are beings and aliens standing and looking back. Tall, biped lizards. Glowing ascendant beings (no longer needing bodies).

One of the ascendant beings walks across the distance but pauses. Falls down, and then vanishes.

I start to rush over when they fell, but the elLan holds me by the shoulders. "You are kind Arlow, but this crossing.. it winnows sometimes."

When she lets go of my shoulders, it also include a slight nudge forward.

As I walk, it is like I am seeing my life. Each step forward, and fresh memory of my past life. My life had tragedy. But is also had victories. As I walked, it became more difficult to keep her advice in mind.

How I might 'ask' for the life that would happen next.

A tall beautiful elegant ascendant woman walked ahead and to the right. She slowed down. A foot held up for a step forward, not taken.

One being on the far side lifts her face and stares with a smile that shone bright around her body. The bodiless woman walks renewed and leaving a pace methodical, rushes into her embrace.

They hold tender gazes, but look me way.

I look down, trying not to intrude on their private moment of happiness.

One foot step is hard for me. Leaving everything on Earth. Recalling that time.

I look up to see several beings looking at me. Two of them were the couple that embraced and they stand most directly looking my way.

It was like having a wind at my back.

I do not recall walking the rest of way.

I stood close to that group.

The woman with the smile that shone said, "Hello Arlow Tsai. I met a copy of you once. Very cute, truly adorable. That sensitive and tentative copy changed my life with just a few words. There is a chance you have seen me. I was on Planet Earth to battle the shadow infestation."

I recognized her. One of the aliens that was grouped around the mirror. She seemed to be someone giving orders.

She smiled and said, "Here look back sometimes, a helpful smile or expression is encouraging to those that want to cross. It seems to be true, actually all of us appear to be first-timers."
