Two Months Later

Since Clyve came back he's had a hard time finding a job but at least he's been able to spend time with Kristine when Muriel went to work, after graduating she got her dream job as a registered nurse. She would be working overtime for the first time since Clyve has came home, she was honestly nervous.

Muriel woke up to the smell of breakfast, she groaned as she sat up and she noticed that Kristine and Clyve weren't in the room "What's going on?" She mumbled as she stretched while she got out of bed

She put her robe and slippers on then she walked in the kitchen to see Clyve and Kristine making breakfast "What are y'all up to?" She smiled as she leaned against the door frame and crossed her arms

Clyve flipped one of the pancakes over and looked over at her "Good morning baby" he smiled

Kristine ran over to her
"We're making breakfast for you mommy"
she smiled as Muriel picked her up

She smiled as she sat at the table
"Oh is that right?" She smiled

Clyve placed the plates of pancakes and bacon on the table "Yep, you've been working really hard and we wanted to do something special for you" he smiled as he gave her a kiss on her cheek

She gave a look "Thank you baby" she smiled

Clyve sat Kristine down in her booster seat and sat next to her "No problem baby" he smiled

They started eating "Clyve this is good, where'd you learn to cook like this?" Muriel asked as she finished her plate

He took a sip of his orange juice
"My mother taught me, growing up everyone had to learn how to cook" he explained

She smiled "Well you did a great job baby, I need to get ready for work before I'm late"
she sighed as she got up and started washing her plate

Clyve got up "I'll do the dishes, go ahead and get ready for work" he told as he walked to to the sink

She turned to him "Are you sure I can wash-" she began

He cut her off "Yes I'm sure, it's not a problem go on and get ready"
he smiled as he let out a chuckle

She gave a look "Thank you baby" she smiled and gave him a kiss then she went back in the room to get ready

Minutes later she came back in the kitchen wearing her scrubs "Look at Nurse Roper"
Clyve smiled as he held her

She chuckled "Oh stop it" she smiled

He chuckled "You look beautiful baby" he smiled

They kissed "Thank you" She smiled

Muriel gave Kristine a kiss on her forehead
"Bye Munch" she coo'd
