After I'm satisfied with how I look, I go to check up on Danny.
He comes over often so he has clothes and stuff that he's left here.
Same with Adelina and Kayla.
"Yo Dan, you done?" I ask from the other side of the door.
"Yeah I'm comin!" He says.
Not long after he opens the door.
He's cleaned up nice and has his hair gelled back as always.
He's put gel in his hair since I've known him.
Which was since first grade.
He's wearing some simple jeans and a blue t shirt with a jean jacket.
"Cleaned up nice I see." I wink playfully at him.
"You know it." He winks back and chuckles.
"Cmon we should get going, we want to get there before the line for tickets get too long."
He nods and we walk to my car.
I pull up to the fair and park, excitement building up inside me.
"This is gonna be so much fun." I squealed.
"You say that every year." Daniel laughs.
"And have I ever been wrong? No? That's what I though." I stuck my tongue out at him.
He chuckles and we get out the car, walking to the entrance.
We spot Adelina and Katelyn waiting just there.
"Took y'all long enough!" Yarilisa exclaimed.
Katelyn just waved and smiled.
"We're here now!" I laugh.
Yarilisa rolls her eyes playfully and we make our way to the ticket booth.
The line isn't that long so we didn't have to wait much.
We all got our tickets and walked inside.
I squealed in excitement.
"You're acting like a child." Daniel laughs.
"I am a child, at heart!" I say.
"I mean, she's not wrong." Katelyn says.
I giggle and we continue walking.
I love when the fair comes around.
There are so many fun things to do and I can just breathe.
We find a game to play and walk over to it.
It's a shooting game, if you shoot more than 3 targets with the BB gun, you get a prize.
"I'm going to demolish you all at this game." Danny says.
"We'll see about that, you're gonna eat my dust, Santos" I smirk.
"You wish!" He laughs.
We both get the guns and start shooting.
Danny barely gets 1 target down.
"This shit is rigged!" He yells.
Just as he says that, I shoot down 4 targets.
"You were saying?" I give him a shit eating grin.
"Unfair...." Danny whines.
I laugh and choose a prize.
I get a small panda bear.
We continue walking and looking around.
Adelina comes up from behind me and hooks her arm around my shoulders.
"Sooo...how've you been?" She asks.
"I've been good, why do you ask?"
"I don't know, with this whole Asher thing I just wanted to make sure you were good." She said.
I smile slightly, "I'm fine, thanks for asking, but I'm not gonna let this Asher thing effect my life. So let's have fun, ok?"
She smiles widely and nods, "of course."
We laugh and continue walking.
I'm so happy I have them in my life. _______________________________ Hey guys!! I know this was a more chill chapter, but I swear more is gonna happen next chapter. I really hope you at least enjoyed it a little bit. I really wanted to get an update in for you guys as soon as I could. School started for me so that's been super stressful. Writers block has also been a bitch so I've been dealing with that. I really really really wanna update more for you guys and I promise I will try!
