As we begin to rush down the corridor, Jasmine grabs Ruby's arm.

"Nope you ain't going anywhere" Jasmine squeals pulling him closer towards her.

"Save yourselves" Ruby whispers.

"We're not going anywhere" I sigh snatching him back from Jasmine.

Jasmine sighs and places a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm so sorry about the breakup" She sighs pulling me into a hug.

"How did you kno-?" I whisper to Ruby and Jamal. They both shrug their shoulders.

She pulls away from the hug and turns to face Monse.

"And you Monse I knew it. You and Cesar were getting it on" Jasmine squeals clapping her hands.

I look at Monse and she shrugs her shoulders.

"The whole school knows" Jasmine whispers as people continue to stare at us.

"Monse" A voice shouts.

We turn to see Ryan stood down the corridor. He looked pissed.

People begin pulling their phones out to record what ever was about to go down.

What went on between Cesar and Monse?

Did they?

No they didn't.

Please tell me they didn't.

"Ryan I can explain" Monse cries chasing after him.

Me, Ruby and Jamal stood there in the corridor as we watched Monse run after Ryan.

"Did you guys know?" I whisper.

They both nod.

"Why does no one tell me anything" I sigh walking off.

--------------------------------------

I was now sat under the bleachers not wanting to go to my lessons.

I scroll through the texts Ruby and Jamal left.

"Fuck you guys" I whisper to myself as I put my phone on silent.

I place my phone in my bag and tried to make myself comfortable.

A smile grew on my face as I thought about Latrelle.

I quickly grab my phone and began texting him.

Minutes later I was stood at the school gates waiting for him.

His car pulls up in front of me.

"Glad to see you're better" I smile as I get into his car.

"All thanks to you" Latrelle smiles pulling me into a hug.

He notices me yawn.

"You okay?" He whispers.

"I am. Now that you're here" I smile letting out another yawn. "I need to catch up on sleep"

"Me too" Latrelle laughs letting out a yawn.

He pulls me into a kiss before beginning to drive.

We reached a red light. Latrelle turns to face me.

"I heard Cesar's joining the Santos" Latrelle whispers

"You heard right?" I whisper resting my head on the head restraint.

A

fter a short drive, latrelle drives into a quite neighbourhood.

We pull up into a driveway.

"This where you live" I smile and he nods.

He quickly jumps out the car to open the door for me.

Latrelle holds out a hand for me to hold.

Holy shit.

Is he introducing me to his family?

We walk in through the blue door to see a bunch of smiling faces.

The family were in the kitchen making dinner.

"Jerome. Remember my girl Alma" Latrelle smiles as we walk in.

Jerome smiles as he heads over to us.

"Of course" Jerome smiles pulling me into a hug.

"Mama Alma's here" Jerome shouts and a woman walks out the kitchen.

Her face lights up once she's sees me.

"Is this her" The woman squeals running over to us.

She pulls me into a hug.

"I've heard so many goods things about you" She smiles.

"I've heard good things about you too Mrs Campbell" I smile.

"Mrs Campbell. So formal. You're part of the family now. Call me Ava" Ava laughs giving me another hug.

"Mama that's a enough hugs. Alma's tired so I'm gonna take her to my bedroom" Latrelle smiles.

The family begin giggling.

"To sleeeeep" Latrelle sighs as we begin to walk up the stairs.

His room wasn't quite what I expected.

"Alma that's my mom's room" Latrelle laughs guiding me to his room.

"Right" I laugh trying to hide my now reddened face.

"This is my room" He whispers pulling me in close.

He sits on his bed and pulls me on his lap.

"You've met my family. When do i meet yours? " He whispers.

I let out a laugh before realising he was serious.

It was just me and dad.

I couldn't let him meet dad.

Dad would probably kill him.

"Maybe" I whisper hoping he'd take that answer.

He's my first boyfriend and of course I want him to meet dad but he couldn't.

"Maybe. Okay maybe's good" Latrelle whispers.
