Wow I haven't written in this since 2017. I have to do better with my time, and uploading new material.  I've read through this and I think I'll end this book in about 3 more chapters. So sorry for the delay. If you're still reading thank you so much! ❤❤

Briasha

Jr. was whining and he was honestly aggravating. Since Mike reconnected with Chris and Brittany Jr. has been here every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. He leaves on Sunday afternoon to go back home. I had our daughter 1 month ago so this extra child here was way too much for me. "Jr. Go find your daddy please." I tried not to yell at him but I was close to snatching him up. He got continued to whine in the middle of the floor. "You wanna nap?" "No seepy." He said to me. "You want a snack?" I asked. "No!" He yelled. "Stop yelling, you gonna wake your sissy." "No sissy!" He was annoying. I continued to rock Logan so she wouldn't wake up. "Hey baby." Micheal said walking in the room. He came over kissing my forehead and the baby's forehead.

"Sup man, why you whining?" "He's being so annoying Mikey please get him. I don't want him to wake Lolo." He sucked his teeth. He had told me plenty of times to not say Jr.was annoying but shit he was. "Come on Man, you wanna go outside?" He asked Jr. He was still whining but got up anyways wobbling behind Micheal.

Micheal

I picked Jr. up once we hit the staircase. He hasn't mastered walking enough to do stairs just yet. "I think you cranky man." I told him because he continued to whine but once I opened the sliding  door that lead to the back yard he started smiling.  He wobbled right to the swings once I put him down. He pointed to it and I hurried over to help him on. I put him in and pushed him and he giggled.

We stayed put for about 20 minutes until he started rubbing his eyes. That let me know he was ready for a nap. I took him inside giving him a cup of milk and took him to his room. As soon as he got in his bed he was dozing off.  I went ahead and went to Logan's room where Briasha was still holding her although she was asleep too. "Go shower and relax." I told her picking the baby up and placing her in her bassinet.  "Thanks baby." She said pecking my lips. I grabbed the monitors and went downstairs. Briasha usually took about 2 hours to do whatever when I let her get some time.

I pulled my phone out and called Brittany, she answered cheerfully. She was in her last trimester and I didn't understand how she was so happy. Bri was miserable her last trimester. "Hey Mikey!" She said. "Hey Britt Bratt, what you doing?" "Nothing. Just packing my bag for the hospital I ran out of stuff to do." She laughed.  I chuckled with her but it soon died down.  "You okay?" She asked. I sighed. I wasn't okay. I had gotten the results for my paternity test and I was nervous as hell to see the results.

"I um...I got the results for the test?" I said sadly. "You opened them?" "No." I sniffled lightly not even noticing when I started crying.  "Did you think about what you wanted to do ya know..she trailed off.  I didn't even start thinking about that. She tried talking me out of the test. Both her and Chris just told me to let it go but deep down I couldn't.  I would have but the more Briasha brought up how much Brittany and our relationship impacted her I just swear she was deflecting from something and the way she did Jr  sometimes. I couldn't let it go.

I opened the letter scanning the numbers until I got to the bottom of the page. Everything I was dreading was in my face. "Come pick up my son please." I said sternly to Brittany.  "Mikey? What did it say?" She asked. "Just come get him Britt." "Okay. I'll be there in 20 mins." She hung up the phone. I just sat there staring at the paper like the results would change.
"The alleged father is excluded as the biological father" is all I kept reading over and over.

I picked up a bottle that was sitting on the table and cracked it open. I had been sober for about 6 months but that was about to come to a screeching halt right now. I took a few sips and headed upstairs. I went into Jr's room. He was still asleep in his bed. I loved my son so much he was the spitting image of me and I only wanted him to know how much I cared about him. I started to prep his bag, packing a tin of diapers, clothes, and necessities.  Although I knew Brittany and Chris had everything they needed for him I still wanted to make sure he was straight.
