"Can you read this," Destin asked, motioning his paper towards me.

"Just check the accuracy if you don't mind, it's my Spanish work." He explained.

I nodded and scanned the paper before responding, "perfect." I smirked.

"lemme find out you a native Spanish speaker," I joked.

He rolled his eyes before returning back to the work, "I wish, I can't seem to figure out how to form a cohesive paragraph." He complained.

"You're over thinkin' it." I shook my head.

"Maybe," he sighed, "was english hard to learn?" He asked.

"I don't really know, my mom started teaching me when I was young so I basically learned it along with Spanish. Since Spanish is my first language though I'm obviously better at it, there's just a little bit of Spanish words that I don't know the English translation for." I explained.

"That's so cool." He smiled, "I wish I was bilingual."

"Whatchu mean?" I chuckled, licking my lips, "You're almost there." I shrugged.

"barely." He said lowly.

"Are you done with everything?" He questioned, watching as I packed away everything.

"Yeah, D we've been working for a couple hours." I laughed.

"Yeah you're right I guess, I didn't even realize." He responded.

"are you um, gonna leave?" He questioned.

"I didn't really plan on it, but if you want me to I ca—"

"no it's fine!" He said quickly, "I mean uh, I haven't shown you your present." He corrected.

I smirked before nodding, "show me."

"Close your eyes." He shook his head

"I'm gonna peak." I said honestly with a chuckle.

"Should I blindfold you?" He asked, standing up.

This Guy.

"you can do whatever you want." I said lowly.

"what'd you say?" He asked genuinely.

"Nun, I'll just use my hands."

"I don't trust you." He flat faced.

"I promise I won't peak." I smiled, lifting my pinky.

He smiled triumphantly causing me to chuckle and cover my eyes.

I heard some shuffling and felt a slight breeze before hearing him speak.

"Okay, open." He said shyly.

I did so and immediately smiled as I watched him stand in front of me.

"My jersey number." I spoke to myself, watching as he then turned around so I could see my last name on the back along with the number again.
