"Master, why do I have to go back to the Temple? You said I could stay with you back at the apartment-"

"I know what I said," Gal interrupted the girl and placed her hand on her back to move her along faster.

"Well can you then tell what's going on?" Harley exasperatedly asked as her legs carried her up the stairs as quick as they could in her attempts to keep up with Gal's quick and wide stride, which was allowing her to take the steps three at a time.

Gal glanced over her shoulder, looking for a Jedi Master but she couldn't see any. "I need to go sort something out, and I need you to stay here and wait for me to come back," Gal said.

Harley frowned as they stopped near the archives entrance. Inside many Padawan's were studying away.

"You will be coming back for me, right?" She asked and grabbed Gal's hand tightly as the Jedi knight turned to leave.

"Yes, of course. Be safe," she said and hugged the young girl tightly before stepping back and running back down the corridor they had just walked up, praying that she wasn't going to be too late.

All afternoon there had been a bad feeling within the Force. It was so displeasing, it had caused Gal falter a few times in confusion and pain during her one on one training with Harley. Gal had taken them both back to apartment an hour early, but the whole time Harley marvelled at the place and settled in nicely, Gal couldn't stop pacing and worrying.

Now, she was running down the steps of the Jedi Temple, attempting not to run into anyone in her path. The Force was guiding her to Master Windu, and although she didn't know why, she just knew she had to go to him.

Gal climbed back into her speeder and proceeded to fly back to The Republic Executive building as quickly as she could. She knew she had last seen Master Windu there. Once she had landed on the dock, she rose to her feet and jumped out of the speeder, not even waiting for it to shut off completely. Gal stumbled and almost fell face first into the ground, but she caught herself before she could. Anakin was there, she could sense his presence.

He was pleading. "You can't kill him, Master. He must stand trial!" She could hear his voice almost as if he was standing next to her.

Gal had ran down various corridors as her robes flew behind her, twisting within themselves every time she sharply turned the corner.  Her mind raced with uncertainty about what situation she was about to face. The Dark Side of the Force was growing stronger the closer she got to the situation taking place in where she could only assume the Chancellor's Office.

"He has too much control of the Senate and the Courts." Gal was able to hear the voice distantly, even without the Force to echo it; Master Windu. Gal rode the elevator upwards in silence, trying her hardest to listen into glimpses of the situation. "He is too dangerous to be be kept alive!" Master Windu yelled through the Force.

His tone was full of disbelief and betrayal. She didn't want to admit that Anakin was the cause of this.

"He must live... I need him!"

Gas exiting the elevator before the doors could open completely, forcing her legs to move quickly down the corridor. and towards the Chancellor's office. Getting closer to doorway of the office, Gal watched as Master Windu stood over the Chancellor with his lightsaber held high. The Chancellor looked sick and near void of any life as he laid on the floor; both he and Master Windu were on the ledge where the window should have been.
