We had finally arrived at the Eclipse Pack. They are the biggest and the strongest pack in the country. My pack, the NewMoon Pack, is the second strongest in the country. Well, it's almost my pack. I have to find my mate first, so I can take over my parents pack.

That's how I'm here now. I am here with my soon to be Beta Drew. Tomorrow is my seventeenth birthday and the start of my journey to find my mate.

My dad thought it would be best to start off in the biggest pack and then travel around the rest of the country if needed to find my mate.

I got out of the car with Drew, also like my best buddy.

I quickly bow my head.

"What a pleasure to see you Alpha Daniel." I said knowing Drew is bowing behind.

"Jessica, no need for formality. Tomorrow at the ball, we'll find out that your, my son, Derek's mate and you'll be my daughter-in-law." he said walking up to give me a hug. I hugged him back since it was the polite thing to do.

Oh, and if you haven't been able to tell, my parents and Derek's parents have always hoped that one day we would both be mates and unite the two largest packs in the country. I have never met his son and I still won't until tomorrow night. They want it to seem like love at first sight. It has truly gotten annoying.

"Sorry Daniel." I say to please him.

"That's better. Now, I'll have an omega show both of you to your rooms. They are both next to each other and connected in case y'all need each other." He said walking off while an omega ran this way.

"Right this way." the omega said bowing her head.

I always didn't like how alphas discriminated omegas so much and made them be like the house keepers of the house. My pack isn't any different, but I haven't had a say in what happens since I haven't taken over yet.

"So, who's this lovely young lady that's showing us to our room?" Drew asks pulling on his 'charm'.

I just roll my eyes at him and continue following her.

"M-my name is S-sarah."

"What a lovely name. How old are you?" Drew asks.

"Fifteen."

Just when she said that, I could tell his flirting ways had gone away. He is only nineteen, but he isn't going to take do anything to a girl so young.

"I remember when I was fifteen. My dad probably hated that year the most, teaching me how to drive."

"Yeah, because you never learned." I said speaking the truth.

You could hear in giggle a little when I said that.

"Hey, I can drive!"

"In your dreams."

We had gotten so much into our little play argument that we hadn't realized we were at two doors.

"Oh, we're here. Luna, yours is on the left, and Beta, yours is on the right." she says looking at the ground.

"Thank you. I think we know our way from here." I said politely.

"But, din..."

"Sarah, it's fine we know our way." Drew said reassuring her.

She walked off hesitantly, but never looked back.

"Way to make me look bad." Drew said glaring at me.

"I only told her the truth." I said smiling while walking into my room. He followed me in and say down on the bed.

"Ugh, just never mind. You ready for tomorrow?"

"You know me. I am not ready for tomorrow. I have only known about werewolves for a year, and I'm about to be in charge of a whole pack."

"I understand, but I'll be there with you the whole way."

"But what if I am Derek's mate. I have never met him before and you would have to fight his Beta for the position, unless one of you steps down. What if you don't win and then I don't have you as a friend anymore because he's too possessive..."

"Jess, stop. You'll be fine. Whoever your mate is, he will take care of you and give you whatever you want. He wouldn't want to upset you. Just take a second and breathe. Everything will be alright."

"Ok, ok. Can we just get dinner in our room tonight? I'll meet everyone tomorrow at the ball."

"Yeah, I'll walk downstairs and see if I can get someone to bring dinner up."

"Thank you."

"You know I will do anything for you Jess."

He got up and walked out of my room to go see if someone can bring dinner.

This is going to be a long stay if I can't get my act together.
